Solo female traveller and it was great.
Houcin was my driver both ways and honestly he was amazing, he really took care of me, making sure I was ok at all times.
Updates us on the journey, answered all questions we all had whilst driving there about places etc.
I honestly couldn’t fault him. Thank you.
We arrived at the camp after the long journey and that was a great experience, a little waiting around in a hotel near the camp before the camel ride whilst we waited for others.
Left bags which they took to the camp and then left for the Camel ride and sand boarding which was great fun whilst watching the sunset.
Camel ride back to the desert after sunset was beautiful.
Camp was amazing, amazing tents and big beds.
Had about 45 mins before dinner to get showered etc.
Food was good, could have done with some sweet treats after rather than just fruit.
There was no Moroccan mint tea, which I was really looking forward to 😔
There could have been some music (Moroccan) on whilst having dinner to create more of an atmosphere. It was very quiet.
After dinner they played some music on local instruments and danced which we joined in which was nice and finished around 10.45/11pm.
A campfire would have been nice.
Tents were comfortable and hot water for shower which was great 😊
6am for sunset which was incredible- I just watched by myself, no activies for me but was offered the night before.
Breakfast was typically Moroccan and was yummy and there was mint Moroccan tea 🙏🏽
After breakfast at 7am, we then left at 8am to meet the main car with my driver in it at the main road.
Both journeys were good, very long but stops along the way and lunches were yummy and around 100-150DHS depending on what you had.
Overall the experience was great. 😊

Awesome experience, but the organization could be improved.
We were a group of 9. The evening before the start, the tour operator contacted me to tell that 8 of us will go with one car and 1 with another one. Because I haven't accepted this split, they moved our pickup 30 min earlier. This wouldn't be a problem, but in the morning, we got in the car on time, but the car haven't moved at all for more than 30 min.
The luxury tents we have chosen to stay over night, because they supposed to have air condition, didn't have air condition. When you pay 50% more to have air condition and you don't have, you are not so happy about that.
In the evening, when we went to the dining tent, we got surprised to find a lot more people that our tent area could accomodate. We found a free table having enough places for all of us, but after we sat down at this table, we"ve been moved by the "hall manager" and split us between other persons at other tables. We just wanted to stay together. After a few more argues they let us stayed at the initial table. Until the end of the dinner no other group of persons have come, so we found no reason to keep that table occupied.
Riding the camel in the desert was very nice and it is definitely a different experience than riding a came in the city or village. Watching the sunset over the sand dunes was very beautiful. And doing sandboarding for the first time was a really interesting experience.
After we took dinner, we enjoyed staying near the fire and listening the berbers singing. We've been invited to join dancing around the fire.
In the morning, we got the chance to drive the quadbikes and watch the sunrise over the sand dunes. We didn't mind to pay extra for this, because it was an awesome experience and I would do it again.
All in one, I would book this tour again, but I don't think I would choose the luxury tent again.

After a warm welcome, we got to know our frames of the day. A beautiful discovery supervised by our experienced camelmakers. The whole family goes to the break point to test the snowboard on the dunes, and watch the sunset before heading back to base camp. And what a surprise to stay in comfortable tents in this place.
The meal arrives and we now witness a privileged moment around the fire to the sound of music full of percussion.
Our only downside will be the road. 9h between Fez and our destination. Luckily, our driver “Imad14” is welcoming and attentive. It adapts to the different needs as much as possible so that this moment goes as well as possible. Thanks again to him 🙏🏽.

Despite being a bit heavy activity for being 10 hrs trip from Fez to camp and vice versa the camp was excellent.
