Informative and entertaining. Our guide Sharon was born and bred Falkland Islander. Very knowledgeable about local wildlife and life in general on the islands. Would highly recommend to future visitors.

This was a great tour. I learned a lot and had a lot of questions answered. The only thing was the problem with hearing the guide due to the speakers/microphone etc going in and out. A little rushed for people that had some accessibility issues like my friend.

Our guide and driver were wonderful and very informative. Loved seeing the Gentoo Penguin colony and especially them on the beach with the dolphins jumping in the ocean behind them

so I would not recommend this tour. The tour operator could not of been better! and the tour was, ok. but if you are coming to the Falkland Islands you need to spend the money and go to volunteer point. I guess I'd say it's gypsy cove that I don't recommend. which is where this tour goes. Yes, we saw penguins, and even king penguins, but you get what you pay for. And I just wish we had paid the money to see the best or most penguins. tour operator went over, beyond, and above! But I would recommend other areas over gypsy cove.

A really fun and informative tour . Sharon was an excellent guide , knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour, who was ably assisted by her driver Kaps . Sharon and Kaps between them paid care to the less able walkers in the group while ensuring that this did not impact on other members of the group.
Communication prior to the trip was excellent, especially considering that a change of cruise itinerary meant arriving a day earlier than scheduled.
Thank you Sharon and Kaps for a fantastic day , we do enjoyed meeting you and the penguins were an added bonus!

It was cold and windy and we had rain but we also had a great time on the tour with Sharon from Falkland’s Travels. Saw lots of penguins, and walked a lot, but it was not a difficult walk. Don’t miss the penguins.

Hiking through sandy dunes. Extremely good guide and driver funny, excellent English and very informative. Not as many penguins as hoped. Late in the season, the babies have left by early March. We saw penguins, birds.

This was an excellent tour! Great mix of being outside for some beautiful shirt walks and views of penguins, dolphins, and shore birds. Our guides had a ton of knowledge and information to share. Great communication from the company before the trip and on the day of the excursion. Plus points for being a woman-owned business!

The tour was good although it would have been better to be closer to the penguins.Sharon the guide and Cap the driver were vary informative and friendly.A nice touch was the homemade cookies and post cards.A bit of walking is involved over sand which could be difficult with people with limited movement.

Fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly & fun. The tour showed us so much of the island & we learnt so much about the daily life of the islanders. He took us to the best places to see Penguins & Seals.

Our guide and driver, Sharon and Kapitan, were great! They were knowledgeable and helpful. Although a sea lion chased away the penguins there in the morning, we were able to hike through the sand dunes and commmune with a herd of sleeping penguins at the second sight.

Our tour was in the morning and we had lovely sunny weather (though windy). However be prepared for rain as it poured down in the afternoon and we were glad of our waterproofs! Our guide and driver were 6th and 5th generation Falklanders and very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw lots of gentoo penguins at Yorke Bay but not many Magellanic penguins at Gypsy Cove.

Sharon, our guide, and Haley, our driver, were both very friendly and informative, plus a great sense of humour. This tour was much less than the ones we could have booked from the cruise ship and we did see plenty of penguins and three different kinds. Not as many as I would have liked but that is just luck of the draw on the day (friends who took the cruise ship option did see a lot more, but they paid a lot more). It involved two short walks, one on a hard rocky track and the other over sand. The walk through the dunes itself was pretty good. it was followed by a quick tour through Stanley showing us some of the key places.

Sharon and her driver Eve (ex police) are awesome! Very knowledgeable. We saw Gentoo and Magellanic as well as a couple of King penguins .bonus tour of town pointing out the differences in the development, housing and history. At the end You can visit the museum (free) and it's 5 min walk to the dock, or get a ride back to the dock (museum is worth the visit). It was pouring rain, but still an awesome visit.

Reasonably priced,picked up on time,very friendly and knowledgeablesaw plenty of penguins area very well knew the local areaonly a small amount of customers 14/15 people.definelty reccomend

Fantastic excursion to see points of interest in Port Stanley as well as 2 areas to see penguins. Weather didn’t cooperate but nothing could beet the sunny dispositions of Sharon and Eva. Highly recommend this tour!

An excellent small group tour with a personable and knowledgeable sixth generation lady guide. A three hour tour that covered two Penguin locations and local landmarks around Stanley.

Great shorter excursion with a couple treks to see 2 (or 3), different types of penguins in beautiful scenery and tour a bit of Stanley.
Make sure to over dress for warmth, it was 50 but felt like 30 with the wind!
Loved our guide & driver, and the price was half of going thru the ship!
When not going through the ship, we always make sure to pick something that’s going to be back hours before all aboard time. This company also has a backup plan if something unforeseen happens.
