Overview

Wonderful Konavle!

If you’re looking to escape the Dubrovnik crowds, this tour is a must. The Konavle valley is breathtakingly beautiful, the traditional lunch was delicious, and the Winery Botaro visit was a total highlight. Our group had a wonderful time with thanks to Dino, who is a fabulous guide with a brilliant personality. Truly a fresh, authentic way to see the "real" countryside. When organising the excursion, Dino was also extremely responsive, knowledgable and flexible. Thank you Dino! 5 stars!

Jam packed day filled with great wine tasting and delicious home made food. Dino is an excellent driver and entertainer. He made us feel comfortable and energized all day. I highly recommend this day trip with Dino!

Wonderful side trip from Dubrovnik!

My son and I had a terrific time with Dino! We absolutely loved it! Communication was excellent all the way through. The drive along the coast and into the valley in itself was worth everything. We thoroughly enjoyed the family winery and the wines (and other locals confirmed that this is the place to go!) - it was truly lovely. And the lunch was delicious. We learned so much from Dino and really had a great time with him! Definitely recommend this tour - all around it is very very good!

Great guide, great food and wine ! Dino was very knowledgeable on both current activities and history of the region. Car was very clean and comfortable and Dino took us through picturesque routes to and from Konavle. Our visit to winery with host Marianna was also exceptional. Would recommend !

okay but i expected more

The start of the tour was great but was slightly disappointed, that we only went to two restaurant. While the driver and the lady that was with him were friendly, i would have liked him or the lady that is with him, to explain a little about the food we ate. Or maybe talk about some Croatian food traditions. Also the food in the second place was too much we had a starter, main and dessert. While that is certainly a lot and some might appreciate that, i don´t think that is the point of a food tour as for me it is about learning about the food of the country, tasting different foods and meeting new people. I would have preferred us having only one meal at the second place and then another meal at another place. Finally while i appreciate that he did the food tour for only two people, I think that he should give the client the option to join another group the next day as food tours are more fun if you have more people.
