A very enjoyable excursion. Learned a lot. Enjoyed our guide, John, he was great! Loved learning all the history behind how Guinness and Jameson came to be what it is today. John was so accommodating and knowledgeable.

This was absolutely worth the money! Karl was amazing!! So knowledgeable about everything. Had wonderful jokes and we learned so much. I would recommend this your hands down to anyone. I don’t even like Guinness or Jameson but I had a blast! My family loves it so for them it was amazing! Book this tour you won’t be sorry and ask for Karl!!

John is great to work and deal with. I chose this tour for me and my buddy to go check out Guinness and Jameson in Dublin. Right from out initial contact, John was friendly and accommodating.
When our cruise ship changed disembarkation times, John adjusted the time and tour to help us be able to still enjoy the tour. For just a few more euros, we got a private tour and not a bus of 40 or so dumping us at Guinness on our own.
He even drove our wives from our Princess Cruise ship to town and we headed to Guinness. While driving he took us on a city tour and showed and explained a lot about Dublin.
When at Guinness, he took us on a personal tour, explaining the Guinness process and all kinds of tidbits. When we went to the top to drink our Guinness, John went and got them and we avoided the crowded bars.
We then headed to Jameson, with more of the city your. At Jameson, John explained some things to us about Jameson, since he had worked there in the past, and showed us around before our tour there.
After the tour, John went out of his way to pick up our wives and explained more about Dublin then dropped us off at our ship, the Regal Princess.
John was a total delight, answered all our questions and made it an extremely enjoyable tour.
You won’t go wrong in hiring him!!

John was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable, kind, funny, and informative! It was a living history lesson about both Dublin and the tour experiences (Guinness & Jameson). Private tours are the way to go. John picked us up at our hotel and saw to our transportation and extra special, personalized treatment throughout the day. John even cared for our shopping and delivered it to our hotel concierge for pickup later. I highly recommend this private tour to any beer and whiskey lover looking for that little extra care only John can provide!

Due to rough seas our port call in Dublin was canceled at the last minute. I was able to contact our guide John in the hope of saving him the drive to the port. I knew we were outside the 24 hour cancellation window and was prepared (unhappily) to eat the cost. Much to my delight, John offered to refund all costs for the tour except for the cost of entry fees which he had paid and could not recoup. Although I am unable to comment on the quality of the tour, I am sure based upon John's honesty and generosity the tour would have been great. I will defiantly book with him next time we are in Dublin.

We were picked up by John our guide, and Jeff our driver, in a Mercedes Van comfortable for the 4 of us on the tour. John gave us great commentary on the streets we were driving for the 30 minute or so drive to Guinness. He was able to shepard us thru the facility and gave us great insight. This was first class. We could leave our bags in the van with Jeff so we were light on our feet. The tour ended with a tasting on top floor in the Guinness bar. As an option, you could buy tickets to the Guinness Storehouse but this was a great way to plus up the tour and trip, without having to think thru the details. From there, he took us to Jameson where the Jameson guide took front and Centre for a wider group. Both pieces were enjoyable. For what we were looking for, expectations were more than met. John and Jeff extremely professional. And we saw a beautiful side of Dublin on what turned out to be a great sunny day.

John was a great guide, flexible to our needs. Very knowledgeable about Dublin, Ireland, Guinness, and of course - whiskey! He had answers for all of our questions. We didn’t have much time in Dublin so having John escort us and giving us advice on what to do after our tour was invaluable. Highly recommend and will be booking again for our next trip to Ireland!

The wife and I had an amazing time with John, he was early to pick us up from our hotel, he is a
wealth of knowledge, he is very easy to talk to, funny, and patient, and he did not rush us at any time. This was the very best tour/sightseeing trip we have taken, we did not have to wait in long lines we were able to get right in for our tour, and the best part is John did our whole tour at the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery!!! I suggest 100% taking this tour with John!!!

This tour is a must do in Dublin. John our tour guide was so knowledgeable about Jameson whiskey and the history of Guinness. We had a great time touring in a small group through both sites. Would absolutely do the same tour again next time in Dublin! Who doesn’t love the chance to pour your own bottle of Jameson from the barrel, it will make a great gift!

This was the perfect way to experience the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Whiskey Distillery. John was the perfect host and guide with his knowledge of the history, the process, and the different varieties of both brands. Guinness is very well set up and enjoyable and the rooftop bar has the best views of Dublin with clearly marked points of interest throughout the city.
Jameson was a delight with interactive activities to help understand the process of distilling the famous brand of Jameson. The tasting test was fun and the cocktail included was the tour was refreshing.
I highly recommend this tour - with John as our guide we were able to skip the lines and see the most relevant parts of the tour. John gave us a great history insight of Dublin and gave us some great recommendations for lunch and dinner. Best way to spend a morning in beautiful Dublin!

I highly recommend this tour with John. My daughter and I had the BEST experience touring Guinness and Jameson with him. John is extremely professional and knowledgeable and made the tour very entertaining. We did a private tour. He greeted us in the lobby of our hotel and was very prompt. His car was beautifully cleaned and he was very accommodating with waters, coffee, getting us drinks, etc. This tour was the highlight of our trip! A "must do" tour!

If you are looking for a personalized whiskey and beer tour, this is the one for you! John was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and tailors the tour to your questions and interests. The tours allow you to ride in comfort enjoy drop offs and pick ups right at the entrances, and John took care of all the ticketing. No stress at all. John also gave us recommendations on great restaurants and pubs near our hotel. We would highly this tour if you want to explore Guinness and Jameson in style!

My husband and I booked this tour during a recent trip to Ireland. As this was our first time in Dublin, we decided to look at guided tours and thankfully came across the private tour of the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery. While it may cost a little more than the group tours, it was well worth it! John, our tour guide, was fantastic! He picked us up at our hotel and gave us a tour of some of the important landmarks in Dublin on the drive to Guinness/Jameson. We were dropped off at the door of each location and were able to go straight into the building. John then took us through each tour personally, sharing not just information about Guinness and Jameson, but also about the history of Dublin and Ireland. It was truly fascinating, and we learned much so more than we expected to. While we would have appreciated just the tour in itself, we loved hearing about the city and it’s history from someone who grew up there. This experience was one of the highlights of our trip, and we could not have asked asked for a better guide than John.
