Couldn’t progress after the first 2 pubs as pub 3 was closed and pub 4 was under renovation! Abandoned and did our own tour!
Response from Host, Sep 2026
I am really sorry for the frustration with the closed and renovated pubs that cut your tour short. We want to learn more about the exact route issues so we can update the stops and fix this right away. Please reach out to us at explore@questoapp.com so we can look into it and offer you a free quest to try the experience properly.
We did it as a group of 7. What we loved about this self guided pub tour was that we could start when we wanted to and could do it
on our timeline. We had lots of fun!!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm thrilled to hear that your group of 7 had lots of fun and that you enjoyed the flexibility of playing on your own timeline. That freedom is exactly why we built the app this way. Hope you'll explore another city together with us soon!

First pub we found easily. The story on the app was really disjointed and didn't make sense. Next couple of pubs we couldn't find what we needed for the points. Gave up and did our own thing
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thanks for trying the Dublin Old Town pubs quest. Sorry the story felt disjointed and clues were hard to find. If you message us in the app, we’ll help live; and if you’d like a refund or credit for another quest, contact Viator support and we’ll approve it.
Didn't use on specific date & was locked out to use a later ....
unable to get credit or reset date to use

Fun way to see the pubs in Dublin. Enjoyed solving the puzzles at each pub and of course trying the drinks along the way.
Response from Host, Sep 2024
We're thrilled to hear you had a great time exploring Dublin's pubs while solving puzzles! It’s always fun to blend a bit of challenge with discovering new spots, especially when there’s a refreshing drink to enjoy after each stop. Looking forward to your next adventure with us!
Enjoyed the history lessons and visiting all the pubs and eateries (some of which were too fancy to go into). The story was hard to follow, and some of the puzzles were too difficult. Great concept, the execution needs improvement
Response from Host, Apr 2024
We're glad to hear you enjoyed the history lessons and exploring the pubs and eateries, although some were too fancy to enter. We appreciate your feedback on the story and puzzles; we'll work on improving the execution while maintaining the great concept. Thank you for sharing your experience!
We had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, many of the pubs included wouldn't have been found without playing and we enjoyed a pint in 10 of the pubs! We also enjoyed the interesting facts and the story too ☺
Response from Host, Apr 2024
