Itinerary

Start with pickup from your central Dubai, Jumeirah, or Palm Jumeirah hotel, and relax into your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.  Then, make the roughly 37-mile (60-kilometer) journey to Dubai Parks and Resorts, a complex of theme parks outside the city.

On arrival, enter Motiongate with your single-day admission ticket, and enjoy about eight hours to experience its attractions independently. Motiongate features entertainment from some of Hollywood’s greatest movie studios, including DreamWorks Animation, Lionsgate, and Columbia Pictures; serving up everything from white-knuckle rides, 4D attractions, shows, and unique lands based on blockbuster classics.

Dive into Columbia Pictures to enjoy seven rides and other adventures, including the Zombieland Blast-Off coaster with a drop tower, a Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs family river ride, a Ghostbusters show, and a play area.

The little ones will love the Smurfs Village, a recreation of a Smurf town with interactive play zones, a Smurf coaster, and a woodland-themed park packed with games.

For more thrills, head for the DreamWorks zone. Hurtle through the air on the Dragon Gliders suspended coaster, take an action-packed circus ride on Madasgascar Mad Pursuit, enjoy a Kung Fu Panda Academy show, or ride the Madagascar-themed carousel and swinging Viking boat.

At the Lionsgate zone, experience The Hunger Games-themed motion simulators and high-energy live music and dance shows, and at Studio Central, watch a song-and-dance show before an interactive journey through the world of Hollywood movie production led by a quirky film director.

When you need a breather, each zone offers a choice of restaurants and shops. Refuel with everything from burgers, pastas, noodles, and ice cream, and buy movie-themed goodies at the shops (all own expense).

In the early evening, reconvene with your vehicle and transfer back to Dubai, where your trip ends at the original starting point.

It was amazing. It was not overwhelming in options. The rides, games, and attractions were so awesome! My daughter loved it. The only thing I wish I’d that a few attractions she wanted and love as a movie, were closed. It was unfortunate so many things closed. But still so fun, because it wasn’t too much!

Fun filled adventure

Enjoyed every attraction that was available 😀. Hotel Transylvania was closed though, however the other attractions did make up for this. Dress cool as the Dubai heat will definitely get the better of you
