- A valid passport is required, with at least 6 months validity. A Oman visa on arrival is typically arranged by the tour operator, but please confirm your visa requirements based on your nationality before booking.
- Hotel transfers in Dubai are included. Please provide your exact hotel details and be ready 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
- Both Resident & Tourist Visa holders must carry original Passport to enter Dibba Musandam
- Our Guest Relations manager on board communicates in English, the universal language, as this is a shared boat tour. Other languages are not available.
- FAQ1: What should I bring? Bring swimwear, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a camera. Light, comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended.
- FAQ2: Are food and drinks provided? A buffet lunch, fruits, soft drinks, and Arabic tea are included onboard the dhow.
- FAQ3: How long is the tour? The full-day tour lasts about 10-11 hours, including travel time from Dubai.
- FAQ4: Is transportation included? Yes, round-trip transfers from most Dubai hotels are included. if you choose this option.
- FAQ5: What documents do I need for the Musandam tour? You must bring your original passport with at least 6 months validity. Please verify your visa requirements before booking.
- FAQ6: What happens if the weather is bad? The tour is weather dependent. In case of unsafe sea conditions, the itinerary may be changed, postponed, or canceled with a full refund or reschedule option.
- Swimming and snorkeling are optional activities—participants should be comfortable in water. The tour may not be suitable for travelers with limited mobility or serious medical conditions.
- Children must be accompanied by adults at all times. Minimum age for snorkeling is generally 12 years, but please check with us beforehand.

One of the best experiences. We were able to swim, banana boat, snorkel, fish and even got taken to see natural limestone caves. The speedboat rose was a lot of fun as well.
The transfer was smooth, journey only two hours, the cruise was on a nice clean ship and the buffet lunch was very decent. We had snacks and refreshments as well.
Overall loved the experience and highly recommend.

The concept is good but the travel component is long for a one day excursion. Each leg (coming & going) is about 2.5 hours by road. The customs checkpoint at the border is a modern and prestigious looking building but the actual process of passing customs is sluggish, even when its quiet. I wouldn't wish to cross the land border busy during a busy period. The tour staff were very good and accommodating to make the boat trip enjoyable for guests.

Most of the day was good, but it took us over 3 hours, closer to 4, to get to the port for the boat trip. Traffic out of Dubai was thick and heavy, and time at border control, 45 mins at 1 stop, made for a very late start. On the way back we had the same trouble. Therefore I missed my prepaid evening tour. The boat was good, as much fun as you wanted. Food was great to, but as we were so late getting there, lunch wasn't til late, around 2pm. We were all very hungry by then as we had pick ups between 6.30 to 7.30am, no time for breakfast for some, so it was a long time to wait for the food.
Fruit was put out earlier though which helped.

The trip was good overall, with great water activities to do. The guide of the trip was not particularly friendly or welcoming. Anytime I had a question, they would come across short for some reason and had an attitude.

Great experience for me. You can read other reviews for the details. Here's some you may not read: Yes, it is a bit of driving, I brought good headphones with music and video for that part, no problem. The food was pretty much unlimited after it was served, so you don't have to worry about getting in line first or not getting seconds if you want. I think the tours may look similar, but I realized some wouldn't pick up at my hotel, this one did. Really awesome to get an Oman stamp on the passport, the easy way.

The bus trip was not comfortable. I knew how long a ride it would be, but I was looking forward to the day at sea in Oman, so that didn’t bother me. Transferring buses midtrip, getting on a bus with smoking odors, and almost being put on the wrong bus getting back did bother me. The incorrect bus transfer on the way back to Dubai was only caught by me. Just in time. In addition, jumping across two or three boats to board ours was uncomfortable as well. They were there to offer hands and help, but why can’t each boat be at the dock instead of linked next to each other. It didn’t feel safe. The crew on board was excellent. The boat felt safe, and it was a lovely experience on board.

The man I spoke to on WhatsApp was very rude when I supposedly sent my friend's visa too late, despite the fact that on Viator it said 24 hours, but apparently it was meant to be 72 hours, so i helped correct their mistake on Viator. We eventually sorted it out and continued with the booking. However, his response was very rude, so there's a minus one star there.
The bus ride is very long, probably 6 hour round trip but we knew that going in, but just be wary it's a very long drive.
Border crossing was cool, one of the first land borders I've crossed, not too flashy, was hoping for a passport stamp, but they don't stamp passports unfortunately.
Once we got on the Dhow boat, the crew were incredible, very helpful and very accomodating. Big shout out to the crew.
Activities were as expected, was fun to swim in the Omani seas, although the snorkelling was a bit pointless as the visibility in the water was terrible, so didn't see any fish.
Buffet was incredible. Great food, and staff were great in explaining the food.
Was hoping there was a souvenir shop or something on the Omani side but didn't look like there was much, lots of construction on the port, felt like we were maybe 5 years too early. But there wasn't a way to buy any Omani souvenirs unfortunately.
Overall, 4 stars, but the rude man on WhatsApp reduces this to 3 stars.

However, it's important to note that, as per our guidelines, UAE residents are required to submit their documents 72 hours in advance for border pass approval. Unfortunately, your residence visa was submitted less than 24 hours before the tour and outside office hours, which caused a delay. I did my best to accommodate this late submission, although it could have resulted in a no-show.
We emphasize the importance of following the provided instructions to avoid such situations. Nevertheless, we're glad you enjoyed the rest of the tour, and we appreciate your understanding.

Great day away from Dubai. Journey Is long, so be prepared.
The boat ride was fun.
The water activities are adequate, nothing fancy. Guests are welcome to do as much as they like, or nothing at all.
The lunch was good and plentiful. Crew is great.
Not much explanation, but no problem as if you have any questions, the crew will help you.
The sea Water is salty. Quite clear, and a bit on the warm side. There are fish in the water.

The trip was fantastic. We were collected at 7am on the dot and were driven to Oman. It was perfect, we had a short rest break at the service station then continued on with the drive. The boat trip was exceptional, staff were ever so friendly and helpful. Really loved the speedboat ride, the water was tranquil and the food was excellent! Loved the biryani.

The trip started well. Great driver and comfy car.
The boat staff were nice, but very over-bearing. Repeated questions constantly to us, and didnt understand that we wanted to be left alone to enjoy the day
The boat was static for far too long. In the summer heat it was too much. Hours and hours we waited, and staff constantly trying to get us to go on water sports even though we explained multiple times we couldnt.
The lack of sanitary cleaning of the snorkels was unsettling
Lunch was late, although tasty.
The fishing was totally unnecessary. 30 minutes turned into 1 hour, and at the end it was only the staff who were fishing. Pointlessly letting fish just die on the boat floor.
For peak summer heat this trip should be adapted, and staff should be more aware of personal space and communication styles.
By the end we were desperate to get off the boat and sit in the car for a 3 hour drive back to Dubai

The day trip was just okay, but if you have more interesting things to do in Dubai, I would skip this trip, unless you just want to tick off Oman as another country visited.
The scenery from Dibba is drab and boring, mostly just brown rocks everywhere. Communication was not great; the other reviews were accurate about this. The tour guide did not do much to explain things and we were often left in mystery as to what was going on. The majority of the group were Russians, and the tour guides spent most of the time speaking in Russian, leaving us English speakers confused.
The buffet lunch was alright. But overall the trip didn't seem very fun compared to other activities that are available from Dubai.

You ride the equivalent of a Greyhound bus to the Omani border. Not one time did anyone make a single announcement on the way. Once there, there was a 3 hour 20 minute delay. Border guards said tour company did not forward documents in advance. Tour guides did nothing to explain things or try to help in any way- in fact told us to go speak to the border police! I will say, once we made it through the boat ride and activities were top notch. Then we left and again sat for 3 hours on a bus with no information given.

Not recommended at all, several reasons:
- driver was driving too fast and too many accelerations and braking. My friend was a bit sick because of this
- activities do not take place at all in a fjord but more close to the radisson hôtel of dibba
- activities and boat skippers are nice to do . Beautiful dishes to see during snorkeling, banana boat is funny to do, and hand fishing did not give any success

Excellent food, friendly crew, great guide. Kayaked and snorkelled and had a lovely time. Pick up brilliant - the driver came up two floors to my hostel to get me. Water available on the bus. Plenty of room on the boat. Relaxed itinerary.

I recommend this tour to everyone! The driver picked me up from my Dubai hotel and took us to Oman borders near Dibba and then the cruise started! Fun is guaranteed! The guys did everything for us to have a great day! Musandam is amazing and we stopped for swimming and banana experience, speed boat adventure experience, kayak , fishing and food was included along with drinks, fruits, snacks..and I was surprised how delicious the food was! I was very pleased and happy with the tour and the price was really value for money!

The drive to/from Musandam was uneventful. The driver never spoke to the guests regarding the area. I found out the next day that we had driven through other emirates. Once we got on the boat, the crew was awesome. The experience was lovely.

Great fun and good service, but a lot of unnecessary driving and not much adventure. The tour isn't really to the Fjords, but to the Omani coast on the Indian Ocean.
You don't really get to see any of Oman, but it's a cool day out.

An enjoyable day overall. Upside is seeing the landscape change from Dubai to Oman. Cruising in the dhow with an excellent buffet lunch, plenty of cold water and fruit was very pleasant. The loud American hip hop music in that serene setting was ridiculous. I asked them to turn it down after I had heard a particular track 3 times and they did oblige. We were dropped at a small beach to swim which had a very friendly dog and some goats wandering about. The snorkelling is a waste of time as the water is not clear. My daughter went on the banana ride behind the speed boat and was hurt quite badly. The driver was determined to shake everybody off and she is a very slight build. The drive to and from was uneventful but slightly too warm. I think the vehicle could be a bit more up to date.
This particular trip was a lot less expensive than some others we had looked at so you get what you pay for.

I cant give this a five mainly because there was no mention that the drive was 3 hrs to the boat from the Palm. There was also no mention that it wasnt really a cruise but more of a ride. Now I recommend it because once we got to the boat it was fun doing the activities. FYI, you likely will not see fish when snorkel so just think of it as more swim time. The banana boat was a blast though and quite possibly saved the tour. Tour probably is the wrong word, it was more like an activity. The driver doesnt talk to you during the drive to the boat, the boat crew dont talk to you during the boat ride either. They really just instruct you what is about to happen. The food was quite good though, i enjoyed that and i think everyone else did as well because everyone was sleep on my van during the return ride which was around 530pm.

Il viaggio è un po' lungo... diciamo che si passa una giornata un po' diversa però niente di che. Alla fine si va in barca in un'insenatura e li si fa il bagno. Il personale è gentilissimo e super disponibile (da *****) però non è niente di che l'escursione in sè... pochi pesci, niente barriera. Se si vuole si può fare un giro sulla 'banana'. Forse però sbaglio io che mi ero immaginata una cosa diversa.

el servicio se cancelò por mal tiempo y nos regresaron al hotel, sé que no es su culpa, nos dijeron que nos iban a devolver el dinero pero de todas maneras podíamos ir al ptro dia gratuitamente pero no pude ir, espero ir para la pròxima vez. La persona que nos buscò muy servicial y amable y puntual. Gracias y espero la proxima vez que haya buen clima
