A scam rather than a tour, nothing like what we expected.

No parts of this tour were memorable in a good way. The Palm Islands experience was a 15 minute drive from our hotel down the main road to the mainland. I don't recall visiting the Dubai Heritage Village although we were taken to a shop where we were pressured by the shop assistant and the tour guide into buying art forms which were distasteful to us, and another shop selling spices, chocolates and sweets which we succumbed to but later realised that we had spent far too much for what we got. Once again, the tour guide was working with the shop assistant to increase the sale quantity. We visited the Burj Al Arab for a quick photo stop but we did not enter the building. We did not visit the Zabeel Palace, I don't recall even seeing it. When we were being taken to the spice shop we passed by the Abra station and my wife commented to the tour guide that an Abra ride was included in the tour. He said OK and he stopped and paid for the ride but he had not intended to do this. I don't know what the Gold Souk was but we saw the Dubai creek. We did not visit the Dubai Marina. No admission tickets were purchased other than the Abra ride at my wife's request. The tour guide left us after the spice shop debacle. We were dropped off by the driver at Dubai Mall after a 3 hour tour which was meant to be a 4/4.5 hour tour.

In our services we given you best one even we provide you private car because your wife having issu to clam at car according to her age 2nd point if you see our itnary gold souq we don’t have stop it’s just pass by 3rd point. It’s art gallery which you talking about shopping it’s mentioned in our itnary and you had option to buy it or leave it. As I told you 4th point when you said you wanna go abra ride we gave you abra ride as per our commitment 5th point we been to marina but their is no addition ticket included of any attraction in Dubai marina 5th point. Burj al Arab hotel we mentioned in our itnary their is no ticket included of visiting inside tour in our itnary it’s just outside photo stop which we given 6th point we dropped you Dubai mall by your request free of charge without charging extra fee Last point. Afcourse when the tour end guide job finish so he lefted for his another job rather then this he was so kind to help your wife for clamming at the car every time when she get off and get in . As we mentioned in our itnary already some places are pass by only because of no parking of the car. And we show you old houses and we explained to you already about old Dubai old houses which called heritage village We went all the attractions which we mentioned in itnary But still we apologised if we did not fulfill at your desire . Next time we will improve more our services Thanks again and stay blessed Goodday

Dubai in a few hours

The tour was a good opportunity to see and know Dubai during a quick layover in the city. Arif has good insights about Dubai and knowledgable about the history of the place. Despite the short time frame, the tour covered both old and new Dubai. Both Arif and Saleem were patient and had arrangements to get around with the busy roads of the city. Also, they provided insights of what else to do in my remaining hours in the city. Definitely worth the price of the tour.

Very useful to have a half day tour BUT the guide did not take us into either the gold or spice souks and instead took us to 2 shops belonging to his friends. This should not happen.
