Michael was a fantastic driver and guide. Perfect English and very knowledgeable. There were eight of us in the van and we had no problems hearing his excellent commentary. The visits to Trafalgar falls and the volcanic vents were very interesting. Due to rough surf, snorkeling at Champagne Reef was not possible. Instead, Michael recommended swimming up Titou Gorge, where some scenes of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 were filmed. The water in the gorge was cold, but was not noticed when swimming (with life jackets) up the gorge to the waterfall. Michael came into the water with all of us and took pictures of us as well as pointing out safe places to put our feet in the shallow parts. The Titou Gorge and waterfall are spectacular and everyone agreed that they were the highlight of the tour.

Our family of 5 (all 19 and up) had a wonderful time. We located the staff easily at the meeting point right at the end of the cruise dock. There was a driver and a guide. The guide gave excellent info on Dominica and the driver arranged the trip so we weren’t competing with other tours for time at sights. Waterfalls were beautiful. Hot springs interesting to see. But snorkeling was the best part. Staff was outstanding. The reef was beautiful and the bubbles rising up with warm water in the cool bay was something you should see and feel. Saw lots of sea life too. The tour staff got us back on time. Felt like we had plenty of time at each place. There was local food and drink to purchase at a couple of stops. Driver was safe and friendly. No complaints. Would go again. Good for adults and children (who can swim and would enjoy snorkeling for an hour).

The trip was great, Michael picked us up right at our Airbnb. He stopped a lot of times along the way for photo opportunity’s and to explain the history of the island. He was very kind and nice throughout the tour. Diving with Donny was also great fun and very informative also. There is no opportunity to get into any of the spa baths though

Fantastic Dominica

I was very pleased with the trip. We visited the Trafalgar waterfalls and Michael (the guide) also gave us an overview of Roseau and the valley (hot spring, botanic garden). The snorkelling in the champagne reef was guided by another expert and he made it a very interesting and a joyful experience. Everything was very professional and well organised. We were 2 people traveling on a cruise and it was very easy to organise, especially with pickup and drop off. Highly recommended.

Our guide, Mike, led us through a beautiful island. We drove through town then up to the rain forest beside the river valley. We went to Trafalgar Falls which were magnificent (twin falls cascading down a mountain). The next stop were the geysers-bubbling mud pits which are evidence of the volcanic activity on the island. Finally we snorkeled the Champagne Reef with a great snorkel guide who showed us many reef fishes, rainbow flounder, an eel, tangs, etc. But snorkelling through the champagne bubbles coming from the ocean floor is a unique experience, a once in a lifetime event. This is a five star review of a 5 star tour.

Een zeer goede gids-chauffeur. Veel deskundige uitleg. Voldoende tijd om alles te zien. Hij paste zich aan aan onze wensen en vragen. Sprak zeer vlot en duidelijk Engels. Geweldige begeleiding bij het snorkelen naar champagne reef. De duur van 4 uren is optimaal.

Wir haben online die Tour 9 Uhr gebucht. Kurz darauf stellte sich der Tourgide per Wats App vor. Alles sehr gut bis hier hin. Ein paar Tage vor dem Ausflug wurden wir per Wats App gefragt ob wir den Ausflug auf 13 Uhr verschieben können, damit nicht so viele Touristen auf einmal am champagner beach sind. Wir haben zugestimmt und standen am Ausflugstag 15 min vor Abfahrt am Treffpunkt. Ab 13 Uhr habe ich in Abständen mehrere Wats App geschrieben und gefragt ob man uns vergessen hat und ob wir überhaupt noch abgeholt werden. Als wir 14 Uhr immer noch dort standen fragte ein Guide eines anderen Unternehmens auf wen wir warten. Als wir erklärt haben was passiert ist, telefonierte der Mann, nahm dann unseren Voucher und schickte uns zu einem Kollegen. Dieser machte dann noch schnell diese Tour mit uns im Schnell Durchgang, da wir ja 5 uhr wieder an Schiff sein müssten. Wir waren diesen Männern sehr dankbar, sonst hätten wir gar nichts gesehen. Ich hoffe, sie haben das Geld für die Tour erhalten. Bis heute hat sich niemand bei uns gemeldet, entschuldigt oder erklärt was schief gelaufen ist. So einen Umgang kann ich nicht tolerieren und auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen.

Abwechslungsreiche Tour zu den Wasserfällen und dem Champagner Reef. Der Tourguide hat umfangreich über das Leben auf Dominica und die anzutreffende Flora und Fauna berichtet. Die geführte Schnorcheltour hat sich auch auf jeden Fall gelohnt!
