We had a lovely day exploring the north part of the island. Learned about the history of the island with a nice tour of fort Shirley. Kenny our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and make the experience enjoyable. Highlight included a boat ride down the Indian River with our guide Rosco who made the trip fun!!

We had such a great day! Lennard was so knowledgeable about everything on the island and we learned so much! Lunch was delicious and we enjoyed our drinks at the rum bar. Highly recommend!

Our guide Leonard is a walking encyclopedia about the trees & fruits of Dominica and shared them with our group as we drove to the northern part of the island. 3 separate experiences, Cold Soufriere volcano hike was great. Ft. Shirley historically informative, Indian river boat trip relaxing end to the day, seeing many birds, including the native parrot was a highlight! Leonard is a true “native” himself whose love & understanding of his island helped make it a great day!

Very good tour! Our van was comfortable and Roscoe was a fantastic host. This tour gave us good variety with a river cruise on a rowboat, a hike into a volcano, a visit to a fort and a nice drive along the Caribbean side of the island. Would recommend !!

Our driver was Leonard and he was fantastic. We learned about the volcano area, Fort Shirley (a complete fort not just rocks), ate local for lunch and ended with a peaceful river boat ride. He knew the land, the trees, the water, habitat. Apparently they have a beach called champagne beach with actual bubbles. If time, I would have loved to see and feel that and skip volcano area. You really see the island and learn about the people and culture.

Favorite overall excursion I did while island hopping on my cruise. Our guide Tiffany was fantastic and so funny. A great way to get out of Roseau and see the fantastic northern and western parts of Dominica. Thank you Tiffany! This excursion is a must. Highlight is definitely the Indian River boat ride.

First was a short, easy hike through the forest to the cold soufre. It was much prettier than the photos I’d seen posted. Next we went to the old fort. We learned a little history, had some great views. The highlight was the boat ride up the Indian river. It was lovely.

The tour guide, Lennard, was very knowledgeable about plants, island history, the park, etc. He never rushed us and was always happy to answer our questions. We would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Tiffany was excellent, she tailored the tour to the weather conditions so we didn’t get rained on at all. She was very friendly and informative. The itinerary was very diverse and we felt as if we had seen a lot of variety across the island. Definitely recommend this tour

This was a wonderful excursion! Easy to find and saw the entire side of the island driving to the North. Cold Soufriere was a gem, I felt like it was in the middle of nowhere and it was beautiful. Fort Shirley was a lot of walking uphill in the sun, but we learned a lot. The lunch our tour guide, Leonard, picked was just amazing!!! The river ride was nice and peaceful. All in all, we had a blast and highly recommend.

Our guide, Leonnard Green, was outstanding, well organized and gave us the perfect day in Dominica. He was wonderful at finding things that would interest our younger family members. We enjoyed all three activities - the fort, the volcano cauldron and the rowboat up the river. We all enjoyed the lunch Leonnard had arranged in advance so it was all ready when we arrived. We all now feel we have a new friend in Dominica.

Our guide Tiffany knows the island really well and does an outstanding job of sharing the culture, history, and natural beauty. She tailored the tour to our interests, had great answers to every question we had, and she shared enough personal stories to help us understand what modern life is like on the island. She's exceptionally good and we really enjoyed our day with her.
The river tour was the highlight of the day. Our small group (4 people) boarded a skiff for a relaxing and quiet trip about a mile up the river. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of our "skiff-master", but he was very familiar with the river wildlife and pointed out many interesting critters.

The tour first took us to Cold Soufrière, then to Fort Shirley and finally to the Indian River. Our guides were super nice, friendly and very competent. We were very lucky to be just the two of us, normally up to 6 people can take part. We benefited from very individual and intensive support. Everything was very well planned and prepared. We can particularly recommend the trip on the Indian River to anyone who would like to follow in the footsteps of Jack Sparrow. With a bit of luck you can see not only crabs but even iguanas on the shore.

Excellent excursion. Lennard was a great guide - friendly and very knowledgeable. An hours drive from the cruise terminal to where the activities are which means you also get to see a lot of the island. Highly recommended- it rained all day for us so we got wet through but it didn’t dampen our spirits.

Leonard was a wonderful tour guide. We loved his friendly personality and was a wealth of knowledge about the island. We loved visiting the volcano and the Indian River the most. We were also interested in having local food for lunch and Leonard took us to a wonderful place where we enjoyed Roti’s and they were delicious. It was truly the experience we wanted. On the drive back to the ship we played trivia and had great laughs. Thanks so much Leonard!

We went with the Cruise Ship to Dominica middle of March this year. We were picked up from Tiffany directly next to the cruise ship terminal and we enjoyed the full day trip with her. She showed usthe Cold Soufriere with some wonderful view points as well the Fort Shirley in the morning, a lot of facts, support in photos and all the time very happy - that was holiday feeling. For lunch Tiffany ordered indian wraps, we could eat during our boat trip with Etienne on the Indian River. Also Etienne - he loves the neature and his ríver - you could feel from begin to end. He showed us how to design out of a palm plant a hummingbird, gives us a lot of information on all the plants and trees next to the bushbar.
After the trip on the river we had a good and well communicated trip back to the ship.
I can really recommend this trip, thank you so much Tiffany and Etienne for the day on your beautiful Island. You got much more than you expected during booking this trip.

Guides were excellent - Gregory made the Indian River Tour relaxing, informative and comfortable and our driver & guide for the day, Tiffany, had continuous energy and engaged the group throughout, with stories about Dominican life, history of the trails and sights and much more.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this private tour. Hubert was very informative and passionate about Dominica. We were picked up from the cruise terminal and taken to a local guide Gregory for an awesome trip down the Indian River where we saw fish, hummingbirds and iguanas. We then had a delicious lunch and a short hike to Cold Soufriere volcano. Finally we visited Fort Shirley Heights and Hubert was very knowledgeable about the history of the site and there was a bonus of seeing some spectacular views of the island.
