      Well, we enjoyed the camel ride which was about 5 minutes. The Dune ride was fun, but we could to sand board, so we were told. What we were not informed of is at the beginning of the tour, we drove maybe 10 minutes, as they had to stop at a petrol station to fuel up. So we sat there 15-20 minutes. Then we were taken out to this 4 wheeler place to ride the 4 wheelers if you wanted to. They were extremely expensive for a 30 minute ride (several hundred dollars depending on the bike you would choose). If you opted out you just sat there for 1 1/2 hours (as there were a lot of people there). There was no cultural village experience, unless you include the camel ride area after the dune ride, where there were just sitting areas for you to sit at if your tour did not include the camel ride. I would not suggest this tour. If you want to go out to the desert, I would suggest a private tour where you don’t spend the majority of your time just waiting around or spending hundred of unexpected dollars to do anything. I did like our guide, but he was filling in for the day and has his own private tour company. He kept apologizing to us for this experience and even offered to buy us dinner before he dropped us off. So, go to the desert, but do a private tour.

      Lovely experience and a must on any visit to Qatar. Great hospitality with noor picking us up from the hotel, showing us helpful sights on the way and the incredible camel experience. You really get to see the calm and peace in the dessert and is up there as one of the best experiences we’ve done on this trip. We all loved it and was well suitable for the whole family. You get a good amount of time to experience it all too and at a decent price

      Amazing experience - ask for Noor as your guide, he was so sweet and informative! We had a limited amount of time in Doha and wanted to make the most of it - the timing of this tour was perfect for us. Noor was very accommodating, arriving right on time and getting straight on the road to our first stop at the camel ride. After the ride, we enjoyed some tea, then got a taste of a dune bashing adventure - wow! It was thrilling and terrifying all at once. I wouldn't recommend doing that part if your kids aren't in car seats. Somehow we didn't witness or experience a rollover, but I wouldn't do it with kids without proper seats. We actually had to ask him to dial it back a bit because it felt a little too risky considering we had our children with us, but wow, the bit we experienced was super fun and Noor is an excellent driver.

      Great layover desert safari

      Shabbir was accommodating with our last minute earlier start request. Pick up from Hamad Int'l was a breeze. Kerak tea stop was a nice touch en route to the desert. The ride was fun, and Shabbir managed to take a few nice shots under the stars. Camel ride is extra, and no sand boarding was offered.
