    • Reclining chairs, shower facilities and family or quiet areas are available on a first come, first served basis. Please note, sleeping facilities are not available in the lounge. Currently, Al Maha Lounge does not offer a pre-booking priority service.
    • During the peak season, access may be restricted due to capacity constraints. You may have to wait in line to get in. And food supplies may not keep up. Please be patient and understanding.
    • The ticket has a short validity period, and non-refundable. If it's a long time before your travel date, we usually make a reservation 2-3 days in advance, just in case of your flight change or cancellation.

    The worst airline lounge I have ever been to. A disgrace to the country and airport Excessively over crowded ; sub standard food offerings, cp other airline lounges Very over priced for very little Desk staff quite incompetent in finding the booking though a staf member inside was helpful In adequate facilities including very few toilets and a wait of over 15 minutes in a queue in the mens -- just two tolets and another two with even longer waits A complete waste of money

    I pre paid for lounge tickets, received my booking ticket number and reference number, arrived in Doha 3 hour delay, checked in at lounge only to be told that I needed a code to get in, that took another 20 minutes to verify before being let in. I just found the whole experience exhausting after a 14 hour flight

    Really pleasant experience. Very quiet when we were there but really nice to enjoy some quiet time. We felt refreshed after a shower and ready for the next flight. Food choose was plentiful and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

    absolutely terrible the lounge was so packed they kept trying to convince me to come back at 2am when it was less crowded. I had pre booked for a certain time and was exhausted 29 hr of travel to sydney. the sleeping area was too small and the guy next to me snored so loud no one said anything its a sleeping area not snoring area. food was also terrible and needed usb charging devices in the sleeping area. never again!

    Worst Lounge ever

    Worst lounge ever with rude staff. Insufficient and lack of variety of food (even no salad first time in all the lounges I have ever been to). The craziest thing is the put the smoking area in the middle of lounge the sleeping area and family area are just nearby for secondhand smoking. They would even take your boarding pass at the entrance to control the time. The only recommendable thing is the shower only.

    Very crowded and hard to find a spare seat. Used plates sat for a lengthy time, though the staff appeared to be busy. Food was all right with enough choices including fresh fruit. Plenty of drinks to choose from. I would return.

    OK experience for some down between flights.

    This is not the same standard as a business class lounge, so expect a smaller selection of food, drinks and places to seat. However the staff were nice, place was kept clean. Food was OK nothing special, small non alcoholic and alcoholic selection. If you do like to snack and have a drink this might not be bad value as anything in the airport is very expensive. Example a small Fanta bottle 8 dollars.

    Even though we had booked our entry prior to flying, were informed at reception that they were full but that we could enter but there were no seats available at present. Once we eventually got seats, they weren't particularly comfortable. The food was not great. All in all, won't be booking this lounge again

    Compare north and south lounges

    We booked our lounge online the day before. I had wanted to book the gold lounge but it didn’t seem to come up as an option. When we first landed, we went to the Al Maha south lounge. (Near Gate C) It seemed to have limited food options and was comparatively basic. We moved to the north lounge later and the food options were much better. Actually, the food was excellent. It’s worth noting that lounge access is for either lounge and as long as you allow time to get to your gate, a different lounge might be better. We both had a shower while using the lounge pass. There appears to only be one shower in each, so allow time if you have to wait for availability. A lounge pass is quite costly, but the alternative is trying to find a comfortable place in the airport, where the seats won’t be so comfortable, and you risk spending money in the shops! Using a lounge means you can safely charge devices, without fearing someone will steal them while you go to get food. Always check to see if you have enough airline status to use a lounge for free of course, which we didn’t on this trip.

    Worth the money

    Worth it. Can be pretty crowded but as one person it was manageable. The food spread not as great as I was expecting but decent and a lot of drink options. I do with there was at least one additional shower setup. Had a 3 hour layover on a 28 hour flight. Glad I chose to use the lounge.

    I enjoyed having a shower but would have preferred to have a wash basin in my shower room to allow me to brush my teeth too. I had to use my own bottled water to brush my teeth in the toilet sink area where you wash your hands. After I had cleansed myself I headed to the food bar, I enjoyed some lovely egg sandwiches but the cup cake I selected appeared to be more like an old rock cake, it was so dry I could not eat it. I did enjoy a cappuccino from the cafe bar provided. However, after eating, I was going to enjoy a nice comfortable seat and rest up before I was called to my check in gate by a staff person , she stopped me and advised me I was not allowed to have the small trolley in the lounge, I was using it to carry all my handbags, to transport my duty free shopping bag, my back pack and my handbag while I was in the airport. It would have been too difficult for me to manage without the trolley. The staff person who told me this was not very friendly and this helped me make the decision that I was better to leave the lounge and enjoy more of the airport amenities which are on hand for travellers at no extra cost. This was a big waste of money for me as definitely did not feel very rested for my short stay visit to this lounge.

    Qatar Airport Al Maha Lounge – South Lounge Review

    The South Lounge has a capacity of approximately 100 guests and was well-staffed during our visit (2A- 6A, four hours for $115USD). The food and facilities were adequate and met expectations for a premium airport lounge. However, I strongly recommend that the lounge add at least 30 additional fixed recliner chairs. These premium seats are ideal for travelers on layovers who need to rest or take a power nap. Unfortunately, the lounge currently only offers four of these chairs, and they are in very high demand—occupied quickly and difficult to secure. We were unable to get one during our stay. While similar recliners are available throughout various terminals free of charge, having more of them directly in the lounge would greatly enhance the comfort and value for travelers seeking a restful break.

    Only useful if you have 3 plus hours layover so you can enjoy

    Not enough time to enjoy lounge pass due to late flight into Doha, the fact that you have to walk a fair distance from your gate to the lounge at the other end of airport. Then, to find you have to line up to take escalator up to another queue area before you show your pass and then enter (time consuming) managed to have a quick shower (had to wait till cleaner cleaned it) and only 2 showers!. Quick look at breakfast buffet, looked pretty average and not big selection. Managed to grab an apple and couldn't even get a coffee as no take away cups.

    The facility was good but obtaining the entry QR code was cumbersome. It required emailing the provider (one 3 occasions initially) to obtain a QR code which was only emailed 24 hours prior to use. Albeit the code was received before required, this did not instil confidence.

    Great service, great lounge

    This was a godsend booking for a long stopover in Doha. The lounge was very busy, so we are glad we pre-booked with the tour operator Trippest. They were very communicative. Remember that you need the LoungeKey QR code from them 8-10 days beforehand as this is what gets you in, not the Viator receipt . Lounge and showers were great.

    Line to lounge was long and I was sent to another lounge that se.t me to 2 other desks before. Being told to go back to the line I started in 30 minutes earlier. Not worth the hastle. Also, shower was busy and I was told I would need to wait.
