The tour might be good with a different tour guide. The tour guide, Saleem, was the worst tour guide I've ever had. He was on his phone during the entire tour, even when he was driving. He was either talking on the phone or watching something constantly. I asked him if he was watching a movie. He said no, he was watching something else. He didn't give very much information on the things we were seeing. I'm not even sure if we saw everything we were supposed to. I've been running my photos through Google Lens to see where we were. We hardly saw anything of The Pearl. He didn't even get out of his car at the LuSail Marina. He was more interested in being on his phone. He walked several steps ahead of me at the Souq. At one point I stopped to ask him a question and he didn't even hear me. He was so focused on his phone. He drove in silence for most of the time unless we asked questions. I have taken tours in Dubai, AbuDhabi, Egypt and many other places. I've never experienced anything like this. I gave him a tip but I shouldn't have.

Fabulous city tour with Saleem - covered all the main city highlights and more. Saleem is an excellent guide giving all the information you could need to get to know Doha.
Excellent hotel pickup in comfortable vehicle.
In addition to the areas visited - Saleem gave us information about the history of Doha, the Royal family and life in Doha.
Plenty of opportunity to take photos and Saleem encouraged questions.
Booking was effortless and arrangements notified in a timely manner.
Overall an excellent tour - would recommend to anyone visiting Doha.

Five Stars for our guide Rehan. He was patient and accommodating and even began a little early when we cleared customs sooner than expected. He showed us all around the city and explained all the things that make Doha unique and special. We really enjoyed seeing so much in such a short time and his commentary really enhanced the tour. Thank you so much Rehan.
The review is not receiving 5 stars because the parent company was slow to respond with details when I reached out before my flight. Please be better at communicating with guests who reach out ahead of time so we can be assured of the details of the tour, and not have to wait until the last minute

The 4 hour city tour of Doha was an amazing experience. Highly recommend if you have a long lay over in Doha. Highly recommend to do the tour at night as you get to see the West Bay in all its glory. They picked us up right from the airport and drove us around. The national museum is under construction so only half the displays are open but the entrance fee is discounted. Abdul our guide was very informative and provided a lot of facts about the history of Doha and answered all our questions. A must do!

The group was small, only 5 of us, which was nice, however it was poorly organized and the driver didn’t seem to know where he was going/who he was picking up. Because of this the tour started 45 minutes late (which was distressing because most of us had time constraints and couldn’t afford to have the tour run late). The tour guide spent much of the driving time on his phone either texting or making calls. He could have done a much better job guiding us around the stops, he was quick to point out the nearby restrooms but failed to explain where we were and the significance of the places we were seeing. Overall it was a pretty big disappointment.

Abdul gave a great tour during our Doha layover. What an incredible city! He took us all around, taught us history, culture, and took beautiful photos for us. If you’re doing a layover or a stay in Doha, this is perfect to learn the city layout. Thorough, comprehensive, but not mundane. We loved learning Qatari life during our night tour. Thank you!

Our two o'clock start at 3:00
We had to call many time to know if he was coming or not.
The tour was pretty basic at the beginning and the guide look at his watch all the time and, at some point, start mentioning to us that he was working "overtime" !!

I would have given this tour a 0 out of 5 (do not recommend) had it not been our second guide (Abdullah afridi, 5 out of 5 highly recommend for him alone). Abdullah was wonderful and nice. He even came back after we parted when he found out that the restaurant we departed was closed for walk-ins for the day. We highly enjoyed the time we spent with Abdullah. If he was our guide to begin with, I would have rated this tour much higher. However, we were given a different guide at first, who showed up 30 mins later than start time and with a car that was not safe to travel with (it was in bad condition, for example, seat belts in back seats were not working and missing buckles). He then tried to persuade us that it was totally okay and safe to not wear seat belts since it was a "city tour and no highway involved", which was a lie. He tried to tell us that if we don't go with his car, then there wouldn't be enough time to arrange another car or guide. It was not until we told him that we were cancelling because we didn't feel safe that he started to call his boss AND ended up finding us another guide in less than 15 mins. It was totally unacceptable that he knowingly tried to persuade us to travel in an unsafe vehicle. Additionally, no one contacted us at all before start of the tour until I reached out to them less than 2 hours before start time to see if the tour was even gonna happen. Overall, despite our second guide was nice and amazing, we are very unhappy about how we were treated by the first guide. This tour agency appears unreliable and the fact that they gave jobs to local guides with unsafe/defective vehicles, I would recommend against this business. ********************************************************************************************************************************
TLDR;
1) Second guide (Abdullah afridi) was amazing and we enjoyed spending time with him.
2) No one from agency reached out at all before start time.
3) First guide showed up 30 mins late AND with a defective and unsafe car. Seat belts buckles were missing in the very back row. Instead of trying to find us another car immediately, he lied and tried to persuade us that seat belts were not necessary for this trip.
4) Because of the late show up and extra time to get us another guide/car, we were not able to see everything in daylight, which would have been possible had it not been all that.

This was an amazing tour!! Abdul was SO knowledgeable and kind. We were able to ask a ton of questions and learn so much about Doha/Qatar in a few short hours. I recommend him and this tour strongly to anyone visiting! Abdul was a great driver. He gave us cold water and even bought us local teas to try. Truly a wonderful tour.

This was a nice afternoon activity when it's not quite as hot! Abdullah was my driver and guide and drove us to all the major city sights. We had time to wander around and learn about Qatar and take a lot of pictures.

The tour took us to some great sites around Qatar. Emran was a good guide. Unfortunately the length of time in each place was not right, either too long (museum when not open, cultural village when we were only told to go into a mosque) or too short (souq - no time to look into multiple stores, photo stops) depending on location. This can be tricky with large groups although could have been managed better. Otherwise great tour with some great information provided by Emran!

Abdullah was a great guide. He tailored the tour to our preferences and taste. He offered visits to additional places that were not in the tour and was happy to continue showing us nice places in the city for as long as we wanted. He also gave us plenty of water 😁
He got us into a special date festival because my boyfriend said he really liked dates.
