Highly recommend this afternoon tour. Really enjoyed quad biking (initially decided not to do this, but for 150 QAR decided in the moment it was worth it - super fun but be prepared for it to be bumpy and hot!), short ride on the camels (on reflection a longer ride would have been fun, but definitely enough to give you a taste, especially if you’ve been on a horse before), then the dune bashing. This was a total highlight, our guide Iqbal was a fantastic driver and you can tell he enjoys this part of the day! We felt very safe despite all the reaction sounds we were making in the moment. Great fun sand boarding down a dune as well. Definitely go in the afternoon so you can get awesome subset photos and to experience the desert as it gets a little cooler!

Wow, where do I start. It’s very rare I write a review but when you have this level of service and fun it would be wrong not to. Firstly, our driver for the afternoon Noor was incredible, he arrived on time, called us to check the bookings and nothing was too much trouble. He was really chatty and on the way to the desert he told us all about the sights to go and see, as well as interesting facts on anything we passed on route. He was fantastic with the 2 kids all day and wanted to make sure we had the best time. Ok on to the tour which I would recommend the afternoon tour as there was plenty of time to do everything and it’s about 45 minutes from Doha to the desert. We arrived at the desert where the tyres were let down and during that time we took a short 5 minute camel ride which the kids loved. After that it’s off to the dune bashing which Noor was awesome and took the 4x4 to places which seemed impossible. We told Noor the boys wanted to try the sand boarding which was brilliant. Don’t worry, if you can’t snowboard they have sledges too which were fast down the dunes. There was no pressure in time to spend there and we were there at least 20 mins. By then I was struggling to walk back to the top of the dune as it’s super tiring. Next on to the inland sea which we arrived before the sun went down and it’s amazing to see and you can actually see the Saudi boarder the other side of the sea. Stayed there 10 mins and took some nice photos before heading back to the start point to refill the tyres with air. On the way back Noor bought us some Karak which is a local Arab tea. It’s quite sweet and I’m told is like chai tea and I recommend it. At no time were we asked to pay for anything extra on the trip (you need to pay for the camel ride in the booking section) and there was nothing hidden. Noor dropped us back at the hotel at almost 7pm after being collected at 2:30pm. I’ve done dune bashing in Dubai and I can honestly say this was by far better and highly recommend it. If anything, ask for Noor.

The tour was good and our tour guide was very nice, however I was disappointed that I didn’t get to go sandboarding due to the time. Please bare in mind, sunset time when booking a slot for this as I didn’t realise they wouldn’t be able to offer this after a certain time

It was a very beautiful experience, we had a very experienced desert driver, the ride was spectacular, but safe, the camel ride was a bit short, but the experience of the sunset, the ride, the sandboarding were just great.

I had a lot of fun with my guide Saif. He is a very experienced dunes driver and a good conversationalist. The island seas are gorgeous. You can even see the coast of Saudi Arabia. I recommend this tour.

Una parte importante en estas excursiones es el guía y Shahzeb es fantástico.
