Excellent Dune Bashing trip to the sand dunes of Qatar with Ashfaq Rehman. The best part was the quad bike (ATV) where you are the driver! Keeping up with the lead driver was both challenging and exhilarating! I would recommend this trip in a heartbeat!

Awesome experience in the desert

Muhammad Bilal was an amazing guide! In addition to all the things offered in the tour he was very informative . He taught us so much about not only Qatar but also the surrounding areas of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain. I didn’t realize during booking but the tour brought us within walking distance of the Saudi Arabia border. Being American, we’ve heard mixed reviews of the Middle East which we found to be in accurate. Actually, Qatar, The UAE, and Saudi Arabia or some of the safest countries in the world. Definitely worth a return visit!

I went with my mom and we had so much fun. This experience covers all the fun things to do in the desert. Hamood was a great guide. He took all of our pictures and went out of his way to go above and beyond. I would recommend this tour and Hamood to anyone who wants to explore the Qatari desert. This is worth your while.

Tons of fun activities in one excursion!

We booked the same morning of our layover and we had a great time with Ali seeing the desert side of Qatar. He arrived timely 10min before our pickup time and picked us up right at the entrance of our hotel. We stopped for karak chai (tea) and then drove further to the actual sand dunes. While Ali deflated his tires, we got a 5-10min Camel ride and the guide took a bunch of pictures of us too. After that we had dune bashing - Ali is a very careful driver and skillfully navigated the turns and hills of the dunes safely. In between, we stopped for some photos on a scenic hill and then stopped at another hill for sand boarding/sledding (1 slide turn down the hill). Last stop was a beautiful spot for sunset and we got to dip our feet in the warm Qatar inland sea too. We ended the night at the ATV tracks where we got to ride around a few tracks for 30minutes. Really enjoyed the tracks as we were able to go on our speed at a safe environment (helmets provided). Overall, Ali was super flexible and treated us like family. He kept us safe and on track, making sure we got to experience all the activities and also see the sunset. He also took a bunch of pictures of us and recommended places for dinner/shopping afterwards. Along the way he pointed out Qatar sites and taught us about the development and history of Qatar. The 4pm time was honestly perfect because the weather was nicer, we got to see the sunset perfectly, and ATV at night was a unique experience (and cool weather !). Overall, highly recommend this experience as a good way to maximize time in Qatar.

Hamood was our driver and was fantastic. We went for a quick camel ride, a long dune bashing trip with photo stops, and then to an ATV track where we were allowed to ride to our hearts content. Happy I did it once.
