    Don’t miss this

Good lunch and fun learning how to make Kokoda. Very tasty. There is good snorkeling right off the shore. Saw lots of fish. Very relaxing day.

    Beautiful island

    Mary_S, Dec 2025
The island was beautiful. The food was good and the snorkeling lovely. Now the negatives: the snorkel trip consisted of 15 minutes in the water. The ladder to get back in thr boat did not extend into the water and was therefore difficult for someone like me (68 y.o.) to use. The included "tea" consisted of hot water, tea bags, and a tray of costco-like cookies. I couldn't even determine what kind of cookies they were. There was a huge rain storm on the trip back to Denerau and there was no way to close off the opening between the cabin and the fore deck. Everyone got soaked.

the island had good snorkeling. food was okay. limited chairs/seating. I feel it should have been longer stay at the island being it took a long time to get on boat/organized/get back, so too little time on island.

    Stomach Woes!!!

Shortly after arriving I filled up my water bottle with their water dispenser. I was very thirsty and usually drink a lot of water. By lunch, I was sick and kept throwing up liquid. Later that night, my husband was also sick. We had to fly back to the US the next morning, which made for a very uncomfortable trip. We ran into someone at the airport, who had the same symptoms. I don't know if it was just a fluke, or they were having issues with the water system (they were doing construction on the site--building a swimming pool.) One other concern was that there were not enough large beach umbrellas, which if you are concerned about over exposure to the sun, is unfortunate.
