Special visit to a local village on a Sunday when children were participating in a church service. The singing was wonderful. The Garden of the Sleeping Giant was lovely. While the Hindu temple was stunning, stepping on the hot concrete walkways with our bare feet was agony. It was a relief to be traveling in a nicely air conditioned bus during our visit. The tour guide and driver were top notch.

A great tour - the temple was amazing - markets good for some fresh fruit - the garden of the sleeping giant was beautiful - interesting and knowledgable guide. The village tour was informative. Edwina & Henry - made the tour .

What a great tour this was.Our tour guide was waiting as promised at the cruise terminal and we were on the road in no time.
Transport was a mini bus with driver and a second tour guide giving us a great insight into Fiji culture and history.My wife is in a manual wheelchair and they kindly helped with pushing her around at each of our stops , which we are very grateful for.
We enjoyed the whole experience and recommend to all.

The guide was wonderful. But the young man at the temple did nothing and said very little. He only talked to us when asked and the answer was very short. I think he needs more training dealing with people.

Pick-up from cruise wharf was very organised. Air-conditioned bus clean and comfortable. Our driver and guide were exceptional. The stops were not too long in the heat and we heard a lot of information about island history.

Henry was a wonderful guide. Took great care of us. The gardens were lovely and had another excellent guide there. The temple is incredible. So glad we got to go inside and see the amazing paintings. Shopping was at a very nice store. The village visit was good. A lot of pressure to buy from the ladies in the village. Overall an great tour. Again, Henry was a delight.

Our driver, Kei, as well as being friendly and personable, turned out to be a fount of knowledge on the subject of Nadi. He talked about how Fiji was settled, the make up of the community, and the character of the people. It was incredibly interesting to talk to him about all things related to Nadi. We visited the Hindi temple, Namaka market, Viseisei Village, and the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. All along the way, we received mini tours from locals who worked or lived in these places. All in all, a fascinating tour that we thoroughly enjoyed. Kei is a gem, and if we do any Nadi tour again, we will request that he be our guide!

Tour Guide, Mr. T.,
ceased counting passengers heads when returning to bus resulting in wasted time. Having more than 30-minutes at FIJI MUSEUM would have been nice. If guide had used mic and passengers used earbuds, those at the end of the single file line walking through the Market would have had a clue as to what we were about to see ... when the line moved forward.

Thank you for your feedback. our guides do need to count heads so that they do not miss any passengers behind. we will take your suggestion on board for the Fiji Museum timing. currently we do not have such mics and ear buds to provide to the passengers. we refrain from such due to hygiene issues. clients can explore the markets on their own within the time frame.
We do apologize if the tour was not up to your expectation. our guide had covered all the aspects of this tour.

I am requesting a full refund of this tour. We paid an extra $10 each for one if their pick up points. The company charged the pick up site to cruise port and did not notify us or 2 other couples. We waited 45 minutes past pick up time in high temps before one member of the group got through to company and someone came to get us,if not we would have been left. The tour was over sold and my wife and I were left in an EXTRA vehicle with a driver. Saw the rest of my family at first stop and not after that. My wife and I were basically excluded from the tour. I expect Viator to make this right and refund our fees.

Thank you for your feedback. after our investigation we can conclude the following:
1. The we had 51 passengers booked for this tour on this day. our coach is a 48 seater.
2. we had a 48 seater and a Prado (4 seater) allocated for this day's tour.
3. According to our guide, the pickup time given was 0830hrs from Lautoka Wharf and since there was 4 seats yet to be filled, he waited for another 15mins, the bus had left the Port at 0845hrs with 44pax whom all have booked with Shorex . 1 pax did not show up
4. At 0826am ,we received a message from you that you with 5 other passengers (6pax) were waiting at Lautoka Fisheries Wharf . which is another wharf away from the main port where the ship was.
5. we had informed our driver, who was waiting at the main gate outside Lautoka Wharf to check on the 6 pax where he had to connect the 3 pax to our main Bus which had to wait for you at Field 40 Junction due to you not being at the right pickup point. we had inconvenienced other passengers.
6. Our driver had to drop 3 passengers and come back for the other 3 pax at the Fisheries Wharf.
7. Our driver did explain to you that he can join your wife when they reach their first stop which was at the Garden of Sleeping Giant in which they did
8. there was a few minutes stop over at Jacks bus bay if guest wishes to do some shopping
9. As mentioned $10.00 each you had paid - this was not paid to us. I believe you may have paid this to the taxi driver which you may have taken from the main wharf to the fisheries wharf.
in the first place you were not to go to the fisheries wharf when the pickup was from the main wharf. this tour was not oversold as we can cater for more than 100 pax for this tour as we have numerous vehicles. you were only separated from your family due to your own miscommunication. we do not have any idea who directed you to the fisheries wharf as we never do any pickups from there. The pick up location is clearly stated as from the Port on this website.

It was pouring on the day of our tour, but it was still enjoyable. The visit to the village was a little underwhelming. We were given an insight into the history of it, but really nothing to see there. On the way out there were the local ladies selling tourist stuff at inflated prices.
The walk through the Gardens of the Sleeping Giant was nice. The visit to the temple was also underwhelming, lots of scaffolding everywhere, as it's undergoing renovations. Our visit to the market was nice.
The highlight of our trip was our lovely driver Kumar, who was very interesting to listen to, and was very informative on all things Fiji. He was very accommodating with everything along the way.
So the tour itself 3 stars, Kumar 5 stars.

I ended up being the only person on the tour so it was amazing. I got a personal tour of Nadi and great suggestions. It was extremely hot and humid so I was extremely glad for the AC in the van. I did feel like the Garden of the sleeping Giant was a bit rushed by the garden employee. My driver said I could stay longer but it was so hot so I passed. I wasn't a fan of Viseisei Vuda. I felt like I was being pressured to buy from them. Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple was beautiful, I came prepared and brought socks, if not you can't go inside unless you are barefoot and it was too hot for that.

this was such a lovely tour! Kaiyum was a great tour guide and driver and kept us entertained the whole time. we visited all of the sites and also stopped at a cafe for some coffee and snacks. the garden was great as well and it was a wonderful time overall.
to note, i had to check in at the tour area right at arrivals (tour transport fiji i think, they have a store area). the whole experience went from around 8:30-1:30 but i think timing could be longer or shorter depending on what you need, i had an earlier flight so we were a little rushed at the end.

Great first day of vacation. Hindu temple is impressive—but you must be able to walk barefoot around the large grounds. The village stop was very informative, and crafts were interesting. 30 minutes at Jack’s gift shop was plenty. Tour of the farmers market was interesting, and even bravely tried kava. Garden of the Sleeping Giant was magical, and ended with a yummy fruit mocktail. Very nice intro to Fiji & Nadi.

We had a fantastic experience with this tour and our driver (Pradeep). With this tour we had our driver taking us to the different areas (Village, Sleeping Giant gardens, Temple and shop). Each of these destinations you are taken on a tour of the destinations by the people that run the destinations.
Pradeep was great driving us between the locations and provided us with additional information about Fiji, stopping every so often to provide us with a little bit more information and history of the Nadi area and the greater Fiji area.
Could not fault this tour for the price and if you are based on Denarau Island staying at the resorts it is definitely worthwhile to see what Nadi is like.

We had a very pleasant guide, William, who showed us around in a relaxed manner and was always ready to stop for photos or answer any questions. It was a nice overview of Nadi and surroundings and a great introduction to the culture and the general area of Nadi.

Our guide and driver were very good. We were late to leave, which was a bit annoying as we are very punctual people. The air conditioned bus was a relief on a hot day, as was the water that was provided. A little too much time was spent at the village and we could have used more time at the sleeping giant. The punch that was included at the sleeping giant was delicious.I would have liked to go into the temple and did wear a dress for that, however it was too hot to take off our shoes and this was required. You can go to the temple if you have socks on, which I did not know and did not have. Masks were not required which is whatever, but just an FYI
