Combine a safari in Bandia National Park with a visit with this tour. My family had a great experience on this tour. The guide was very easily found. We left in a timely manner. We had plenty of time to enjoy all the animals inside the Reserve. The included lunch was delicious and very filling. I recommend taking this tour.

Great experience getting a taste of wildlife in a more natural environment than safari park back home.Our guide was excellent with great English and very knowledgeable about Senagal.The wait in the game park was quiet long but this had nothing to do with excursion provider,as was the coaches of fellow tourists turning up.

Amazing! Mr Ceesay has a wealth of knowledge about Senegal, Dakar and Bandia. He is multilingual which helps for those who speak either French or English. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. Our in park guide and driver knew exactly where to go to find as many animals as possible. We saw ostrich, giraffes, warthogs, antelope, guinea fowl, zebras and more. And we didn’t just see one. We saw many. It was well worth the time.

The safari exceeded our expectations. The drivers picked us up from our guesthouse perfectly on time and we headed off to Bandia. During the drive we were told interesting facts in perfect English about Senegal, stuff that just doesnt come up in Wikipedia articles. At Bandia we drove around for maybe 2 hours and saw an abundance of different animals, including a rhino and buffalos from the Big Five, plus tens of other breeds. Pretty much up to par with a safari we did in Tanzania, although shorter and cheaper.

Excellent experience- one of the highlights of our trip, would highly recommend this tour. Pick up from the ship, we located them by the local stallholders, no names being held up for us to locate them. We had an hour wait at the reserve due to the reserve tickets not being purchased prior to our arrival. They got us back to the ship in good time

Bandia Park safari animals were best. Tour driver took too long, with us standing around waiting, from arranged pick up time to leaving time, then again too long hanging around Pink Lake parking lot waiting for 4x4, and other issues (4x4 broke down) such that we never had time for any lunch (nor snacks, nor water), and barely enough time to do 1-hr tour at Bandia. If on a cruise shore excursion with time limits: Skip Pink Lake (not Pink, nor scenic). Spend time at Bandia & have lunch there. Or add something in Dakar to visit. Expect traffic & long drives.

I apolozised for this. It was a cruise day and we did our best to arrive the first at the lake but unfortunatly arrival their they said that all 4x4 were booked by the cruise organizer.
I thank you for your review. Next time I will skip the Pink Lake as you advise me to.

Great day out from Dakar. Bandia Safari was beautiful with plentiful wildlife sightings. Diligent guide. Lunch good. Such a shame for the local economy that Lac Rose is no longer pink. Fun ride up and down the dunes and beach though, again with enthusiastic guide. pick upp and drop off from our hotel

Very nice tour with knowledgeable guides. Yhe park was very interesting and worth the trip. Lunch was on the weak side but tasty. Sand dunes reds and along the beach was fun and the salt making was. Nice.

This was an amazing experience. First, Omar was an excellent guide. He not only has an acute understanding of history and culture, but he explains it incredibly well. Bandia Park was great. We were able to see all of the animals and we saw some really cool Baobab trees. The Pink Lake was even better. We came on a day where the pink hue really came through and we learned all about harvesting the salt. We then went to lunch where we had a buffet of local food and we were serenaded by a group playing music. Finally, the truck ride through the dunes was thrilling. Riding on the beach with the ocean just feet away was beautiful. We will be recommending this trip to our friends when they visit Senegal. Thank you, Omar.

We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Lamin. The bandia and lac rose tour was fantastic. I had great conversation with the guide as well. He was professional and knowledgeable from start to finish. All activities were enjoyable for my son and I.

Der Treffpunkt war nicht so ganz klar für uns, dabei stand der Guide (Lamine) und Bus direkt vor dem Schiff - hier sollte besser informiert werden. Einmal im Bus bekamen wir in gut verständlichem Deutsch alles Wissenswerte über Land, Leute, Historie und das Leben im Senegal nett und super kompetent erklärt. Der See ist zwar leider nicht mehr Pink - der Safari Park ist wunderbar - haben wilde Tiere und 700 Jahre alte Bäume hautnah erleben dürfen. Tour und Guide sehr empfehlenswert, man hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Haben interessante Stops z.B. auf einem regionalen Markt gemacht. Bus war klimatisiert Wasser gab es an Bord. Das Landestypische Mittagessen war sehr schmackhaft und abwechslungsreich. Herzlichen Danke für die gute Betreuung und Kommunikation.

La guide était sympathique et nous a appris pleins de choses que nous ignorons sur les animaux!
Malheureusement le lac rose n'est plus rose dû aux inondations ce qui est décevant surtout que la route est longue pour s'y rendre.. malgré tout je recommande c'était une journée très agréable qui valait l'investissement ❤️
