He will also provide you with all the information needed to understand these animals. In this tour, you will be able to visit Senegal coming from the Gambia in a single day. During the tour, you will take the ferry to Barra, the Northern part of the Gambia. Then, you will cross the border and visit the Senegal Safari Park.

Immerse yourself in the incredible natural world of Gambia on this full day tour. Leave early in the morning to get up close with sacred crocodiles, symbolizing fertility, at the Katchikally Crocodile Pool. Explore locally produced wood crafts at the Brikama Craft Market. Finish with a boat trip along a creek from the Lamin Lodge, to observe oysters being collected from the mangroves.

Visiting one of Gambia's Eco Forest in a beautiful settings. Explore the creek in a canoe (30 -40 mins) and roam the palm forest for 1 or 1 1/2 hrs with chances of wildlife sightings. Meet with some locals who use the forest to practice their trade or culture, such as the fortune teller and the palm wine tapper. Please bring along your swim suite for the use of the swimming pool (if in use at the time)

This is a full day* which sees you travel by land rover to the Banjul to Barra ferry crossing. This, in itself, is quite an experience as you join the hustle and bustle of everyday life on the crossing to Senegal. Back on the land rover and on to the Fathala wildlife reserve where you get to see rhinoceros, giraffe, zebra, antelope and ostrich. Make sure you bring a good pair of binoculars with you for this trip! The whole journey there and back gives you a unique insight into life as it is in both the Gambia and Senegal. The Fathala Nature Reserve is a hidden gem in Senegal, home to a variety of African wildlife. The best way to explore the reserve is this 4x4 safari, where you can see warthogs, antelopes, zebras, giant elands, rhinos and more. Your tour guide will then take you for lunch and drinks, followed by an optional thirty minute lion walk. This is an unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after your trip is over.
