The tour was incredibly informative, and I learned so much about the history of the island. Our tour guide’s passion for the people, culture, and community was evident every step of the way. This was a historical Authentic walking tour. Mixed with culture art and the real Curaçao. I would do it 10 times over again. There was also other solo travelers on the trip which made it so more enjoyable.

Jaqueline was an amazing guide. We were a family of 4 with another family of 4. She did a great job trying to stop in shady spots, and really spoke from the heart about the culture and history of Curaçao. The information about the different art and murals was superb. We had to stop for my young son and daughter each once for different things and she was kind and patient. She stopped to great many locals as we were on the tour and we even stopped at one woman’s place to purchase homemade popsicles that hit the spot during the hottest time of the walk. 10/10 recommend.

We had an incredible tour! Easy meet up spot (give yourself time to park if traveling from another area). Wear comfortable shoes - while we didn’t go super far, it felt like we covered so much history and culture as we wound through the streets. The storytelling is next level! We laughed and learned A LOT! We did the tour with our 10 year old - he was engaged almost the whole time (the heat did start to get to him at one point) and he loved the homemade ice treat stop! Would 100% recommend this tour! Just book it! Enjoy!

Fun and engaging guide but was a mistake discouraging us from crossing the bridge as lots to see there too.

We don’t do both. Because both sides is a lot to see and we choose for the quality of our tours.

Beautiful art led by knowledgeable guide. Ice cream at the end was a bonus. Only negative was that it took about 45 minutes to walk a few blocks due to informational stops along the way. The areas we stopped in were nothing special. I wished we had more time to explore deeper into
Otrobanda and see more art.

This tour took us through Otrobanda. We did not cross over to Punda. Our guide was very knowledgeable and lively and made the entire walking tour enjoyable. We stopped to see some of the more interesting art features (murals, wall decor, etc) and discuss the history of Curacao and current events as well. We would take another tour with Xiomara in a heartbeat.

Be prepared to walk with a sense of purpose as you dance through the streets and learn about the locals side of Willemstad. A great way to spend two hours and still have plenty of time to explore on your own. This is probably not the best option if you’re mobility challenged.

The walking tour of Willemstad covered the main highlights, but it skipped several notable sights such as the floating market, Rif Fort, and many of the city’s art installations. The pace and route didn’t fully hold the group’s interest, and a few participants left before the tour ended. Overall, a self-guided tour may be a better option for travelers who want to explore more thoroughly and at their own pace.

Thank you for your FEEDBACK. We appreciate this. However I need to correct you because: our tour is in Otrobanda. And we don’t walk over the floating bridge (you can do this on your own right?), we talk about the bridge. And beside this, Otrobanda is the biggest area.
Willemstad is divided in 4 districts! And we choose to walk in the Otrobanda district.

This was such a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone! Jacqueline was kind and beyond knowledgeable, and clearly had a lot of passion for her home and its history. The tour itself was about 90 minutes or so and walked through some of the beautiful alley ways that you would likely miss if exploring on your own. The walk itself had a very gentle pace with time for rest and shade breaks. We brought my mother and father-in-law on this tour with us, and they were able to keep up with the group fairly easily. Some of the other people on the tour were from cruise ships, so I believe this is a good choice if you are only in Curaçao for a short time!
