My wife was initially hesitant in booking this excursion bc of some mixed reviews but let me just say, she had a fabulous time! This experience deserves 5 stars and here’s the reasons: 1. The owner personally called us (WhatsApp) to inform us the mini-jeeps wouldn’t be available due to mechanical issues. Instead of canceling, he offered us a private tour, which is something my wife actually preferred! 2. Our day turned into a beautiful experience with a change in itinerary: we visited the flamingo sanctuary, Playa Porto Mari, Cas Abao, the Williwood sign, Playa Forti (where we stopped for a meal at your expense) and Plays Piskado/Grandi. My wife also asked to stop “downtown” to visit the floating market where she picked up fresh mangoes and even tried some soursop. She loved the flexibility! 3. It rained a bit during the day, and honestly, we were glad we weren’t in the open mini-jeeps. We would have been soaked and muddy and my wife dresses for the photo opportunities , not for mud! The private vehicle kept us dry and comfortable. The experience felt personal, safe and special! Masha danki for an amazing day! Just a note: make sure you bring your snorkeling gear and water shoes (some of the beaches are rocky) and the beaches charge a fee for chairs and umbrella (we didn’t rent bc we spent our time snorkeling and taking pictures)

Nothing was expected. The Atv was old and I wasn't able to drive. None of the agenda was done. No bottle water/ soda or snorkeling equipment. I was disappointed and ask to be taken back to the hotel. It's definitely not worth $125.

We booked for a group of 8. We paid and received a confirmation email. The day of the tour we had trouble finding the booth, but called Abraham at 8:53am and he directed us to the meeting point. When we arrived at 9:02am he told us he gave our tour away to another group. When asked why, he said we did not answer his phone call the day before and there were people waiting so he gave them the tour. When I told him that I would be requesting a refund he said he would not be giving me a refund because he messaged me on what’s app the day before. This is crazy because we were on a cruise, and did not receive his what’s app message. He did not leave a leave and did not email us, which doesn’t matter because we clearly had a booked, paid for, and confirmed appointment. He scammed us and obviously does this frequently. He gave our tour to another group who also paid him for the same tour that I’d already paid for as well. He is a greedy business person who is refusing to refund me after he was paid twice. Please don’t book with him and Viator, be aware of merchants you deal with and how they treat customers.

Great excursion! The beaches that we were taken to were amazing and our driver was awesome! Perfect amount of time at each beach. Even swam with turtles. Bit of a mix up at the beginning but it got worked out.

Great but know what you’re getting

This was great in concept and overall a great day. We did a lot of driving (over 2 hours) and got to see a lot, stopping at 3 beaches with time to swim and a scenic overlook and tried to spot some flamingos. Took off some stars as the atvs were much older than those pictured and while i wasn’t uncomfortable driving them they were in need of some major safety improvements (missing brake light, emergency break disconnected, mirrors wouldn’t stay in place and seat belts not functional). We also had an awkward experience where there were more guests than working jeeps and at one point our guide had to leave us on side of road to check on another group. Saw a lot though and we’re on vacation so largely enjoyed, just expected a little better product for the $. Tickets also noted light snacks but none provided.

Accident waiting to happen

The beaches were awesome. The jeeps were old and falling apart, definitely not highway safe. The ride was unbearably hot and not enough time spent at the beach. Do not do this tour. Take a bus and enjoy your stay at the beach. We basically spent all our time driving from beach to beach. Our guide drove a car (that we followed) if that tells you anything. The ATV/Jeep was uncomfortable and just a disaster.

Hello we appreciate your feedback however I would like to bring to your attention some important facts. First this is an ATV tour meant to give our visitors a taste of an adventure while exploring our Island, yes you can pick a boring bus tour you sit back (some has ac) and watch thru out the window besides bus tour would only take you to 1 destination maybe 2. Second our tour clearly states that it’s a 5 hours beach hoping which means we have 5 stops to complete within the 5 hours (including travel time). We give 1 hour at playa Kenepa, 45 minutes at playa Piskado (turtles) 20 minutes to do couple of cliff jumps at playa forti, 1 hour Kokomo beach and 20 minutes at the flamingos. We always give the traveler options to skip any of the stops. This is an open air ATV tour not a (Caddie) in curaçao we don’t have highways and the we use the only back road to the north west side of the island which is a 2 way road. Traveler safety is our priority our ATV’s are inspected and they are 100% safe. I understand some people wouldn’t like this tour or find it even fun ( not saying you are a boring person) but it is a fun adventure most people would find it interesting. As of why the tour guide used a car it’s because most of the time we are booked out so we used a car to go out. Once again I’m sorry for the bad experience hopefully next time when you book a tour please make sure to read the tour description carefully before booking especially if you are not into wild adventure.

Dangerous Excursion...Don't Do it!

I cannot express strongly enough that you should NOT go on this tour. I should have listened to the previous reviews, but I was thinking maybe they were too critical. (They were critical enough). First we had a hard time finding them, since they didn't give us a meeting location. When we first looked at the jeeps we were nervous. There were 4 of us, so we got 2 jeeps. Jeep#1: no rear view mirrors, no windshield, no doors, no seat belts. Jeep#2: Hard time starting, no seat belts, no cover. When I asked about the seat belt, the guy said "you don't need it, it will only annoy you anyway." We later learned that if we got hit by a car, truck or scooter, there was no chance of survival anyway. So stupidly, we decided to go, even with the negatives. By the way, the guide was in a car (that should have been our next clue it wasn't safe!) The guide leads us onto a main street with cars and more frighteningly TRUCKS! Our jeeps were going 40 Kilometers (about 20 MPH) as these trucks are flying by us. This went on for 15 minutes. He takes us to a beautiful beach after about 25 minutes. After about 1/2 hour there, he says let me take you to the most beautiful beach on the Island. We begin driving on these back roads, that I want to be kind and say some sketchy neighborhoods. (Not along the shore where we can see beautiful scenery.) We had no idea if we were actually going to a beach. An hour later driving in this death trap, we arrive at what I will agree with was a beautiful beach. We spend an hour there and now we have an hour drive back to our ship in "The death Trap". Once again, we are on the back roads, then the busy streets, in a jeep that can stall at any time. Thank god we got back safely. I was never so happy to end an excursion. OK the positives...the beaches were beautiful and our guide Richard was a nice guy. We could have rented a car or hired a cab driver, got there faster, spent more time at the beach and spent a lot less money. Your life is precious...don't go on this excursion!!

Hello I would dive you the same respond as the one I gave to the first traveler this is not a Cadillac Escalate tour it’s an ATV tour. Safety is our priority our ATv’s get checked out on a daily basis after each tour. We do beach hopping and the purpose of you doing this particular tour is to give you a chance to drive it yourself and enjoy the ride. Please next time make sure you book a (boring) bus tour or yes rent a comfort luxurious Escalade with a driver so you don’t have to complain about the ATV ride. Sorry don’t mean to be sarcastic but if all (non adventure) traveler read our tour description they wouldn’t complain and I just have a question why you didn’t stop the tour the minute you felt your life is in danger I would have surely refunded you. Thank you

Hello it’s very important to straighten the facts. Just for clarification our tour is very clear online it is a beach hopping tour!!!!! all the stops are listed clearly with pictures. My tour guide the first thing he did is giving you and your family a full explanation on each stop, which you mentioned that some of these stops you already visited you requested to go to the West Point to see the Lagun bay. He did mentioned though that it is about little over an hour, also not to forget the extra hour my tour guide willingly extend the tour period. I feel sorry that you didn’t enjoy the ride done people find it an extremely great experience and some find it boring depends on their mood. The reason you rated us 2 star is because you not politely but is a very demanding tone you requested my your guide after getting back to the starting location you wanted him to drive you to the liquor factory and wait for you which he respectively explained to you that the tour has ended and he is in no position/allowed to be your private taxi that’s when you got mad and gave the attitude. Part of the trip was to include mask and snorkel to view sea turtles they forgot the masks and water was a little choppy could not see turtles. There were other tour groups that had equipment. No lunch provided and vehicles are old and in disrepair. Guide was not interactive with group

This tour is deceiving. The picture of the “jeep” is a brand new version. Reality is that this is an extremely loud rattle trap that could break down in the middle of nowhere any second.There is no way to get out of the sun. There is no way to stretch your legs out., there is no windshield. It’s not a good time believe me. The tour consisted of driving behind a guide, in the middle of nowhere for over an hour to see a couple of tourist trap beaches that you have to pay to use the bathroom. My recommendation is no no and no.

I’m sorry your experience didn’t go as you were expecting, I just want to clarify that in my product description it clearly says that this is an ATV MINI Jeep tour beach hopping, all destinations stops are pointed out and it clearly say North West beaches tour, the picture you see is the same ATV Jeep you get to ride in, some stops yes require payment for the use of their beach chairs and bathroom (not all). I also would like to point out that the reason why we require information of your hights and weight so we can determine if you are able to fit in it. I’m not saying that the ride is confi as a Caddy it is an ATV after all. Once again our apologies for any inconvenience.

Fun day and a good way to see most of the island

The meeting point was close by but wasn’t specific but found it pretty easy . We chose to have a member of our group to drive. It fit 3 ok maybe 4 if 2 adults and 2 children. We were 3 adults . The stops were nice but my one suggestion would be make the last stop shorter where the turtles are because once you see them it’s not really a nice beach to hang out . We would have appreciated a stop at a place to get lunch that would be reasonably priced .

Our three star rating is based off what our family of 4 experienced. Our guide was helpful, but our Jeep’s transmission slipped repeatedly and one attempt to traverse a steep gravel him was not successful. The guide had to take the wheel and drive in reverse up the hill with multiple attempts. I was given hers until the top of the hill. Additionally I would add anyone taller than 5’5” can’t sit comfortably for the 5 hour day. With the issue we experienced 3 stars is the best we can provide.

Initially it was difficult to find the tour. It was not labeled well. The pictures make the jeep look a little spacier than it is. If you do not have short legs, you will not be comfortable in the back. If you do have short legs, you may still not be. The tour guide was great. She was Very attentive and knowledgeable. The views were beautiful and stops were ok. The pre packed snacks were a little sketchy. Quite a bit of rocks on the beaches, so bring water shoes. Would I do this ride again? I probably would not, but it was an experience. Water was foggy with sea turtles but we did see them.

Let me start by saying this was a fun experience and our tour guide Mariana was a wonderful host. Let me also say that this tour is not for everyone. I will list some items below and you can decide for yourself. 1. Communication was non existent prior to the excursion. I texted the tour operator the day before to confirm meetup point and did not get a response by the time we docked the next day. The address and meeting point was not clear in the ticket details. The only way we were able to get the address was to go and create a booking and then it showed you the meeting location. Once we got off the ship nobody seemed to know where that address was or have heard of Jana Car rentals. We started to get really worried since we did not get a response back prior to the day of the excursion and we could not find anyone on the pier. About 15 minutes after the stated meeting time of 9:00 a.m. finally someone called my cell phone and it was someone from the company and told us to meet our guide by the Tuktuks along the street. There was also another couple from the ship that was trying to find the tour guide as well. 2. This tour is supposed to provide a pre packaged "lunch". Their idea of a prepackaged lunch in our case was some sort of fried empanada that they handed to us as we were boarding our jeep in the early morning. So if you are expecting some sort of typical lunch then you will be disappointed. 3. This tour mentions that you beach hop which is a little misleading. We went to one beach where we stayed about 45 minutes and used the beach. Another stop was used for "Cliff Diving" The other stops I would not consider beach stops. 4. The jeeps were very fun to drive. You do get to explore some of the non tourist areas. You will travel quite a distance on the island. After the last stop it was about 40 miles and over an hour drive back to the pier. Another thing that disappointed me was that the jeeps were muddy and very dirty when we got them. At the very least the seats could have been wiped down. It would not have taken a lot of time to just rinse them off prior to a new tour. All in all it was a good excursion to kill 5 hours. My recommendation is that if you and your family are people who like/demand structure and punctuality and are not risk takers this may not be for you. You will get dirty riding in the jeeps so be prepared for that. If you planning on being the driver you will need sunglasses to keep debris out of your eyes. There is an inherent risk in riding these jeeps on the open road with other traffic. You will spend about 2 hours on high speed open road with traffic. As you know this is not affiliated with the cruise line so understand the risk. Several times throughout the day I was concerned about being in traffic with these vehicles. Also as others have mentioned if you plan on having four adults in one jeep just know that the two people in the back will be very uncomfortable especially if they are larger adults.

The flamingos and turtle beach was the best sites. The ocean views were beautiful. The fresh coconut was delicious the lunch was two cold cheese toast lol. The jeeps were fun however the pictures are misleading. The guide was fun and enjoys taking your pictures. I would recommend this tour. They are very attentive and allows time to explore.

Small Group - Big Fun Excursion

This excursion provides an opportunity to see a lot of the island. Playa PortoMari and Kleine Knip are worth the adventure. Playa Piskado is over crowded and not a good place to lounge, but there are sea turtles if you want to snorkel with a ton of people. Our guide, Kevin, was super friendly and allowed us some flexibility in the schedule. Definitely spend more time at the first two mentioned beaches. A couple of considerations to mention. You will have to rent the chair loungers at the beaches as they are not included. Just have some cash on you. The vehicles are not big enough for 4 full size adults though. We had 3 in ours and the backseat person had to sit sideways. Perfect for for 2 adults and 2 kids. Overall, I recommend this excursion for a fun 4-5 hours of sightseeing.
