Fun buggy ride, fun (but dirty) way to see some great sights. We stopped to swim with turtles (really big, healthy looking turtles will swim right up to you), visit caves, and lunch at an amazing beach front restaurant. Bring a face covering, like a gaiter or bandana and your snorkel gear for maximizing the experience.

What a treat it was to spend the day with Vernon on a personalized tour of the island!! He was knowledgeable and easy to share the trip with, helped us get situated at each beach and took us to other sights like the flamingos. Highly recommend- both a teen and a tween loved it!!

Our driver Rafa who picked us up from our hotel was great. He gave us a lot of info about Curacao during our drive. Vernon then took us out on our beach hopping tour. Vernon was also great and very informative. We stopped at three beaches and also stopped at Marfas for lunch; which was amazing. I highly recommend the red snapper tacos! This excursion was very personable and we had a great time!

Don’t do it!!

What a waste of time and money!! I don’t know who has been rating this excursion but it doesn’t even deserve one star. One of the jeeps were broken so we had to squeeze 6 people in one jeep. Then we needed to stop for gas and another stop for water. It started late and these stops seemed they should have been taken care of before we arrived. We all got the feeling that the tour guide didn’t want to be working.

you didn't have e to do it you had to do a aircondition trip not ofroad trip you come late. I make arrangements to pick you up you never responded to your e mail and expect things this tour doesn't offer ofcourse I don't want to work whit guest like you you come in with mad faces to my company and you never read your mails or responded I had transportation waiting at the port for 30 min on you you want to ho to a bat cave and run out so what is there to talk to you of you didn't want to do anything your self next time book a trip with a airco bus that goes to 5 star restaurant that we don't offer in a ofroad trip we offer adventure and local spots

Our guide was 45 minutes late to our pick up spot. He insisted he was not in the wrong because he was communicating to us through WhatsApp. He crammed the two of us in with 4 others. We expected to have our own vehicle. When we brought this up his excuse was his reason was the machine broke. For lunch he took us to a place with no view and the place seemed vacated and old off to the side of the road. We all decided to eat at the beach. The only conversation he wanted to have with us is the fact that we didn’t respond through WhatsApp His constant smoking and attitude was another huge turnoff.

oooh hell na. the one person who was never respo ding e mails have so many prove then you go to a location at kokomo. had the cab waiting and now suddenly you know how to contact me. and respond e mails. having my cab driver waiting 30 min at the renasaince on you then you showed up at kokomo had to ask the cab to pick you up over there and then you demand 5 star restaurants while you on a ofroad trip ofcourse how can I give you information if you are not with the persons who get the info want to go to a cave but are scared of bats all info I ga e you at all stops you didn't want to hear nothing and searching for restaurant with view and stuff this is a local restaurant we'll known and you don't get the concept of the trip is to go to local spots and not crowded tourist spots so next time book a trip with a Lamborghini and. go ofroading with with bad manners. and attitude

Relaxing way to see the variety of the island

First off, understand that this is a custom tour. Vernon designs the experience to be exactly what you want. We wanted caves and snorkeling, and that's what we got. This is a very cool little island that has some really diverse landscapes. We went from white sand to orange sand that had literally blown in from the Sahara Desert and landed on the island. We explores a very cool, completely non-commercialized cave with natural columns and indigenous bats. We stop to watch flamingos feed. We spent a pleasant hour at a very nice white sand beach. Highly recommended.

I went with my husband and 2.5 year old daughter. I was a little worried how my toddler would be, but she enjoyed herself & even fell asleep on the way back (all the bumps in the road must have put her to sleep, really not sure how that was possible). We stopped to get ice and gas at the start of the excursion, which I saw some reviews about how they didn’t like this but I didn’t think it was a big deal at all & it didn’t take long. Gave me a chance to use the bathroom and we bought our girl some ice cream too. We opted for the cave tour which we really enjoyed & were happy with. Tour guide was very patient, informative, kind & we wish him nothing but the best for providing such an incredible experience. Definitely the highlight of our trip.

Vernon was an excellent host! We chose to do the cave tour and it did not disappoint! Vernon took us to see some caves, a blowhole and parts of the island that you just would not see otherwise! He was very knowledgeable and we ended the tour at a local restaurant! Food was excellent and wonderful way to end the tour. We are a family of five, the kids and adults had a blast! Thank you Vernon! Highly recommend seeing the island this way!

Vernon our tour guide was the absolute BEST. Very relaxed but at the same time full of knowledge and the sights he took us to (including the caves and sea turtles) were amazing and not “touristy”. We cannot recommend Vernon and this buggy tour enough.

We all loved our tour with Vernon! We had a blast-my favorite part was the blowhole and the delicious lunch at Marfa's. The kids loved the cave with the bats (and the blowhole!). The whole excursion was well worth it- would totally do it again.

Amazing tour! Vernon took us took the best spots, it was not touristy at all. We were the only people at the caves and the blow hole. We had the best meal at Marfa's- it was better than many meals we had in our fancy cruise. Go for the goat burger and local recipe ice tea. Vernon was very down to earth and professional, we had many laughs.

BUGGY TOUR ACROSS CURACAO

The Buggy was brand new with plenty of room for our group. Even on a sweltering day, the breeze from the open air ride kept us comfortable. We squeezed in a lot of great stops including caves, bats, blow hole, flamingoes, and Kokomo beach. We really loved our guide's knowledge of the island caves, reefs, shores, geography and history, as well.

What a wonderful experience! From the transportation from/to the port area to our amazing excursion with Vernon, we had an amazing day! Vernon was very communicative in advance to make logistics very easy. The excursion itself was one of the best I remember in a long time. It was just two of us and Vernon in the buggy and what a memorable tour. We saw lots of desert, caves, beach and my absolute favorite - the blowhole. We also saw flamingos twice on our tour, which was beautiful. Vernon was knowledgeable and personable. We felt very comfortable with Vernon and never felt rushed at any of our stops. A great excursion that we recommend!

If there's a guide on the island better than Vernon I'll be shocked! Dude is knowledgeable, funny, and a good vibe all around. Me and my girl had a blast! Initially we were disappointed there wasn't a larger group on our day but having the guide in the buggy to give commentary and conversation on the move became more of a highlight! Great spots...GREAT LUNCH at Marfa's...If you want a tour without the touristy cliché stops and love natural wonders and features this has to be the best the island has to offer.

This was a FABULOUS tour! From the time of booking, Vernon was in touch with me via WhatsApp. We had a group of 8–4 adults and 4 teenagers. Vernon took us to secluded caves, a natural geyser, a local lunch spot and a beach. We had an absolute blast. We were FILTHY at the end of the day but loved every minute!!! Highly recommend.

Great way to see the whole island. From beaches to the back terrain, we were able to see it all. Vernon was a great tour guide with his knowledge about the island, a great friendly attitude and was easy to get along with from the start. One the best parts was being able to eat at a local restaurant and it was very good! Rafa the gentleman who drove us around was also very friendly, a very good driver, also told us about the island and a little bit about his family. That made it a more personal than just a man driving a van. These two guys made the excursion memorable. Thumbs up for sure!!

Felt very personalized. Our tour guide took his time. Nothing was rushed!!! Even stopped so we can get some coconuts on the way. My husband and I received a lot of good history about Curaçao. Definitely would recommend & use again if I visited in the future.
