Lizzy was the best guide we’ve ever had anywhere!

KRISTIN_C, Oct 2025
We had so much fun with Lizzy she had everything planned for our perfect day from lunch on top of the world, spectacular views as well as any of the tourist spots we wanted to hit. She had us all singing, laughing long and learning some Greek words. She took care of us like we were her family! Loved it!

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Feeling like an outsider

Joseph_S, Jul 2022
We went to Corfu because my huband's stepmother Becky was born there. She lived on Coruf until the Nazis reached the island during WWII. Every Jewish person from Corfu was shipped to the concentration camps but she and her sister survived and lived long lives. The guide knew that we were Jewish and we wanted to see the neighborhood and especially the synagogue across the street from where Becky lived. The guide's driver was able to make the call and the synagogue was open for us to see. There is a memorial on the wall inside the synagogue with the last names of the families that lost loved ones to the Nazis. The guide wanted us to see the monasteries on Corfu. We did that. She kept calling the synagogue a Jewish "church". That felt very strange...

Response from Host, Jul 2022

Good morning, the guide did not know that you are Jewish and you came there for that reason. I feel so sorry that she used the name church except the synagogue. I feel so sorry about it. If I would know that you want the Jewish tour I will speak with One Jewish lady, who is from the community of 60 Jewish on the island, to explain you better. The guide wanted to show you monasteries for the reason that the main religion is orthodox on the island and monastery in Paleokastritza is one of the most important highlights on Corfu. Do not take wrong please. If you will need something about the history of Jewish on the island I can send you extra on the email. My family protected Jewish families during the Second World War and they even killed them for that so I understand how important it was for you and I feel so sorry that you did not say before that you are coming on Corfu for the reason of Jewish history, I will arrange you another program and I will speak with Jewish community.

Anna was great! Highly recommend

Amy_C, Jul 2022
Anna was amazing! The private tour gave our group the flexibility to see things on the island we were interested in. Anna even book the most beautiful restaurant right on the sea! Breathtaking views and amazing food. She was flexible and found a great spot for the kids to swim in the sea. She even stayed with us to make sure we got in the correct lines to get back on our cruise ship.

Response from Host, Jul 2022

Thank you for your review. I will send it to Anna. Thank you

Perfect introduction to Corfu

Clare_B, Jun 2022
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and our driver and guide (sorry I can't spell their names) were attentive, knowledgeable and really went the extra mile. We had 6 in our party, 2 with limited mobility and 2 children and the itinerary was suitable for all. There was ac and cold water available and we would highly recommend. Sadly photos won't upload here!

Response from Host, Jul 2022

Thank you for the review. We are glad to hear it

Terrible time in Corfu

Christine_S, Nov 2021
When you visit another country, the first person you meet, usually your guide becomes what you know of that country. Your tour guide becomes the ambassador of the country you are visiting. Saying this, I feel Corfu Greece was an unfavorable island because of our tour guide, Nina. Nina arrived late for our tour and from the first moment she got on our bus she was possibly the rudest person I have ever met. The first question she asked us is what we wanted to do, then continued with “No, let me tell you something”. Every single suggestion of what we wanted to see or do was “No, let me tell you something” She was agitated and rude throughout our whole tour to the point I asked her if she was in a bad mood or angry! She spent most of her time talking to our driver in Greek instead of talking to us. I even asked her if she was going to tell us any history or talk to her driver the whole time. After 3 hours with her, I told her our names as she never one time asked us that question. She also, never asked us if we wanted water (which she did get one for herself out of the cooler in the van). We did 4 private tours through Greece and had wonderful experiences and our expectations were of having another one in Corfu, which of course did not happen. Ninas English was minimal and most of the tour we could not understand. If we had a conversation between ourselves, the three of us clients she was wanting to know at every minute “What are you laughing about what are you talking about?” Of course, she was not privy to our conversation but did not like us talking amongst ourselves. Her tour, of what we could understand sounded scripted, and if we asked her a question she changed to subject to something else as if she didn’t know the answer or didn’t understand the question. I was so disappointed in the tour and the guide I am left disappointed with the Island of Corfu. We could not wait for the tour to end. Before you take a tour of Corfu, ask ahead of time which tour guide you will get and if you are told Nina, just say NO

Response from Host, Nov 2021

I can not understand your review, because I told you all the history, we spoke all together and I was not late on the tour, I was waiting on you and I went to the bus. For one part I spoke with the driver in greek because I tried to fix you the program to be happy. We were talking together and you did not complain on the tour, so I can not understand this complain now. I am in shock.

Great Tour!

Brooke_D, May 2019
True to the description, this is a private custom tour based on what you're interested in. My guide met me at the airport and we visited several great places on Corfu, based on my interests. She knew a lot about the sites and the history of the island, but also told me about life on the island. I'd use this company again for excursions on Corfu.
