There's more to Copenhagen than palaces and canals.

Karyn_B, May 2026
This tour was fabulous. Having already visited a number of the 'touristy' attractions in Copenhagen, Isabella took us further into the city, explaining the different hidden gems and the history. As we walked through the different sections of the city she described their significance and their contributions to the way of life of the residents of Copenhagen, from royalty to everyday citizens and the military. We were fortune enough to have only 2 people on our tour, so she was able respond to our questions based on the level of our prior knowledge. She explained the history and significance of various buildings that we had previously blindly walked past, and how the various kings and other notable people had helped to shape the city we see today.

Great Experience

The wet and windy weather...

hockingspeight, Oct 2025
The wet and windy weather was against us from the start but our guide found us a warm coffee lounge and communicated the history and highlights of the city from the warmth of being inside the cafe , well done to our tour guide “ Maybee”

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear that, despite the wet and windy weather, Maybee was able to turn the tour into something enjoyable and memorable. Finding those cozy corners of Copenhagen is part of what makes exploring here so special. ☕✨ We’re proud of our guides for adapting and always making sure guests still get a rich experience of the city’s history and culture. Copenhagen Up Close

Larry_H, Jul 2025
We walked around Old Copenhagen at a leisurely pace, while our guide and his photographer pointed out old buildings and statues and told us about their history, as well as the history of Denmark over the centuries. It was obvious that our guide and his photographer love Copenhagen and want their tour guests to love it as well. Mission accomplished.CopC
