Thor was a great host. He is so knowledgeable about Denmark and Copenhagen. Not only did I enjoy a tasting of beers from the area, but I learned and laughed a lot

Fun tour where you learn a bit of history while getting a little tipsy. Our guide was funny but yes, the humor can get politically incorrect. No problem for me but if you're easily offended, stay away. But why would you be browsing reviews on a Politically Incorrect beer tour, anyway?

Street drinking, rather than beer tasting in bars. It was a nice walk with narration in a much grittier area than Nyhavn.

Thor was the best. Highly recommended. Great knowledge of almost everything and then some useless stuff too.

Had an awesome time on the beer walking tour, our tour guide was really funny and gave lots of interesting facts about the beer culture and history of Copenhagen.

We were running slightly late arriving in Copenhagen so we’re not going to be there for the start time, however Thor texted me and kept me up to date with where they were and dropped me a pin on the map so we could find the group.
The tour was great, lovely relaxed vibe and Thor is a very engaging speaker with a wealth of knowledge and brilliant humour.
Absolutely first class, glad we booked the tour

Fun and unusual tour. Thor was great—funny, knowledgeable, and definitely not your typical beer tour guide.
Instead of hopping between pubs and bars, Thor pulled a cooler full of special beers through Vesterbro, Copenhagen’s hip and creative neighborhood. We walked from one interesting spot to another, stopping in plazas and on sidewalks to sample different cans of beer.
Along the way, Thor mixed local history with plenty of humor, making jokes about the Danes, Swedes, Finns, Americans, Germans, and just about everyone else. The combination of great beer, interesting stories, and a unique format made this one of our favorite experiences in Copenhagen. Highly recommended!

I do not recommend. Almost half of the people left the tour before it finished. 1. We were encouraged to litter by throwing our cans on street. This encouraged homeless people to follow us. 2. The guide wanted us to whisper to him if we needed to use the bathroom as he didn't want to encourage others to go. Then he would look for a location . It was clear he didn't have arrangements with these restaurants. 3. You never go in a bar or the central station, you walk around outside and a share cans of beer. 4. I thought the walk would have politically incorrect jokes mixed with history. In reality, it is a bashing of successful establishments with a loser mentality. We stood outside the restaurants Mother and Hart, while the guide told us they have decent food, but don't go there the service sucks. We left the walk and ate at Mother. Great food, great service by really nice people. We had also ate at Hart the day before with great food and great service. Extremely disappointed with the tour.

You will drink beer on this tour(thats nice) and you might get offended by some jokes(not me). Dont be afraid to ask the guide for tips around the city (besides the ones on the tour).

Thor is a great guide. Please mind that "politically incorrect" is not just a name, they really mean it!

This was an entertaining perspective of Copenhagen. Our guide Thor was fabulous. We spent 2 hours walking around and sampling beer provided by the guide with anecdotes as we went

Easy slow wander around the Vesterbro / Meatpackers area. Lots of great commentary and ideas of good places to eat and drink in.
Stacey_W, Apr 2026
Didn’t realize we’d be drinking canned beer and the “stops” were in front of pubs vs actually visiting pubs other than one. Would have preferred more history of Copenhagen vs inane non-sensical information. Not fun or enjoyable.

Great way to explore the real city and especially by Thor. Who was very funny and knowledgeable… beer was great too!
Fred_T, Dec 2025
It’s a funny and fun look at Copenhagen history and culture. It’s light hearted yet provides insights that you won’t get elsewhere.
Tatia_C, Oct 2025
Fun! The tour mixed history with beer-tasting and a nice walk. Our guide injected humor into it, as well, making it funny & educational all at once.

It was a ton of fun. Great stories. Martin was great with the jokes and the crowd control. Would highly recommend.

Derek was awesome, super funny while also blending in fascinating historical facts about the city of Copenhagen. it was a great way to learn a lot about where we staying in a short time period. Drinking beer along the way doesn't hurt either. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the city.
sharonarmstrong, Sep 2025
Had a great time! Derek was a great guide, tried some different beers, and met fun people. Ended at a bar and kept the fun going with the entire crew.
Allison_R, Sep 2025
Cool concept - the biggest thing I learned was you can drop beer cans on the street because people volunteer to pick them up throughout the city. It was nice to learn some history about beer making in the city as we walked around. We didn't stop at any bars, but rather shared cans of local beers while walking.

Unfiltered like brews,
Mike speaks — hops and truth both bold,
Cheers, no apologies. 🍻
Don’t pass this one up!!

Super fun! Guide was funny, but also very interesting. Very cool neighborhood to explore and learn about. Beer was a mix of craft beers and limited release options. My wife who is not a big beer drinker enjoyed them as well. Highly recommended.
Amy_M, Sep 2025
Very fun and informative. Martin was a hoot. The beer was excellent too. We laughed a lot, we were two 60 somethings with our 30 something sons
Liz_B, Aug 2025
Our guide Roger was knowledgeable & hysterical! We walked through the streets drinking beers & enjoying stories of the area. Great fun!
Amber_G, Aug 2025
Super fun beer tour! Roger was entertaining and informative. A great way to learn some about the culture and history of Copenhagen while enjoying a few beers.
Amy_W, Aug 2025
it is exactly as described~ a fun beer walk. ( not a pub crawl, and nothing too professional) JUST fun and entertaining. We learned things about the city that we never would have otherwise. fun.
Lisa_S, Jul 2025
Thor was an excellent tour guide who made us laugh whilst sharing some interesting information about the Vesterbro neighbourhood AND supplying beers to match. Recommended.
Salvador_A, Jul 2025
Good little tour around Copenhagen. Short but just what we needed. Good knowledge of area. Heavily catered for American tourist
Daniel_J, Jul 2025
Excellant walking tour. Magnus had lots of funny and inappropriate stories that kept us laughing. If you like good beer and fun, go. If you are easily offended, stay at home.
