Fascinating geology and site of ancient civilization habitations. Tour guide, Cat, was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and provided balanced information regarding perspectives on the area’s history from a variety of perspectives.
The tour itself was very comfortable with water provided by the guide. The vehicle was akin to an air-conditioned shuttle bus with comfortable seating and manageable access and egress for minor mobility-challenged guests.

It's high altitude so drink lots of water. The guide was very informative and since we had a small group she was very flexible about what we wanted to do.

We took the 1:00 PM half-day tour of the Mesa Verde plateau on a van with Jerry as our tour guide. The trip was amazing. From a detailed history of the Pueblo peoples and the civilization they created, their lives and traditions, and a few carved artifacts and ruins, this tour is insightful into everything about the lives of the Puebla civilization. In addition, Jerry was an excellent guide who seemed knowledgeable and passionate about the preservation and teaching of this wonderful national park.

We had a great time, despite the less than optimal weather. Our guide Cat was very knowledgeable and did a great job of teaching us about Mesa Verde. We had a good time, learned a lot, and enjoyed the experience. I'd recommend this for anyone.

We had the 4 hour Mesa Verde tour. My husband and I had the tour to ourselves and the guide was very knowledgeable answering all the questions we had. The park is so large having a tour really helped us to maximize our time in the park.

We were a family group of eight and lead to believe we would the only people on the tour because of our group size and our age ( 7 of the 8 ranged in age from 74-82 ). The night before I received a text message from Mild to Wild asking if anyone in our group had an issue with adding a person to our tour who had a service dog, if we did have any “ objections to the dog’s presence. Please let us know if you have any issues and we can get working on solutions.” I texted back and informed them that one of our group had an allergy to dogs. I thought that Mild to Wild were sincere with their concern however when we showed up for the tour Mild to Wild had added four people to our tour including two people with a shared service dog. Why did they even bother texting me if they weren’t sincere. I would recommend downloading the self guided tour were you have some control.

We booked through Mild to Wild and it was a fun, interesting and informative trip from beginning to end. We changed from a half day tour to the full day tour so we could tour cliff palace. Our guide Jay was knowledgeable and full of fun facts.
