Overview

Ride the rapids on a protected waterway just a few minutes from Fort Collins with this whitewater rafting adventure ideal for all skill levels. Get suited up and head by bus upstream to the launch site. Pick up rafting basics from your expert leader while unloading the rafts, then head downstream along the Poudre River to take on level II and III rapids.

August is when the water is lower and as you noted is a great time for families and anyone who has not rafted before or, just looking for an outdoor experience on the water in the beautiful Cache la Poudre Canyon. In August we allow time to swim in the river which you probably experienced and is a special part of the excursion. We are happy to know you had a great experience!!!
