We cannot recommend Blaze Tours enough. What a great day from start to finish in Colombo, Blaze is a lovely man. Our guide for the day was Mangala and his knowledge of the city is perfect. Blaze was absolutely amazing from the minute we booked. He gave clear instructions on the meeting point and even made us our own sign with our pictures on so we’d know him.
We had some issues with the ships docking time and Blaze was easy to contact and very quick to respond. He was also very accommodating re changing our times.
His Tuk Tuk was super well equipped with water and cup holders and we were safe and had a lot of fun, seeing many sights.
We couldn’t recommend Blaze more highly!

Blaze came to pick us up from our hotel. Very friendly guy and knows well the history of Sri Lanka and explained to us the significance of all sightseeings included in the safari trip. His tuk tuk is very well maintained and is convertible that allows you to hold on the top and take better pictures! We had a great experience

Over all, it was good but what I didn’t like was that he took us to two different jewelry shops which we didn’t ask for. I understand that this maybe common practice for off the street Tuk Tuk drivers but when I booked this through your website, I didn’t expect it or wanted it.

It was a great experience. Blaze is very professional. He contacted before hand to know if I had any special needs. He was very punctual. Greeted me with a bottle of water and music. Blaze is also very accommodating. He agreed to change his itinerary to make me see new places. He told me about Sri Lanka history, culture and politics. My guide blaze was amazing. Was in contact with me the day before my tour to arrange pick up. He was always in touch with me as I was travelling up from southern Sri Lanka. His Tuk Tuk is amazing reminds me of a carraige, so much fun. We went to all the places stated on the itinerary and Blaze was very knowledgable and enjoyed telling me all about his country. He did everything I asked of including going up the lotus tower, and finding me some amazing local food. I am a volunteer from south Sri Lanka and was on my way for my flight home. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and looked after which means a lot. I would highly recommend this local friendly guide to anyone wanting to get the best out of an afternoon in Colombo. If you need anything just ask and it will be accommodated. Well earned five stars thank you!

We booked the Tuk Tuk Safari because we wanted something different from the typical car tour. What a blast! We got a truly unique perspective of Colombo as we wove through traffic in our expertly driven tuk tuks! We were able to stop by many of Colombo's key sights - the Lotus Tower, the Lighthouse, the Bell Tower, historical buildings, Independence Square, Buddhist and Hindu temples over the half-day of our tour - and had no trouble parking close to these sights (unlike the tour buses!). Blaze provided interesting commentary on living in Colombo and Sri Lankan history as we rode from place to place. And he took us to a nice souvenir shop (not on the official itinerary) and found us a good place to eat lunch (also an extra!).

My husband and I could not have had a better day yesterday! Blaze has beautiful English, and knows a lot about the recent and longer term history of Colombo. He shared many real life stories with us that were very memorable. He took us to the major sites within the area, including the colonial sites. He then he took us to a gem dealer where we learned a lot about the sapphires and other precious and semi precious stones that are mined in the mountains of Sri Lanka. This was a very interesting experience, and we enjoyed our conversations with the owners of the store and bought some beautiful necklace pendants for our granddaughters. After this, he took us to a Ceylon tea store where we thoroughly enjoyed tasting a number of different teas, learning about them, and how they are processed in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is one of the big tea exporters in the world. The tea was absolutely amazing. While we were involved in the tea tasting, Blaze called a store to enable us to be able to get a couple of cricket jerseys for our grandsons. He truly got it all done for us and it was a great great day. We could not recommend this tour and Blaze more highly. Blaze also communicated with us days in advance of the tour so that we felt prepared for the meeting place, etc. All went smoothly from start to finish.

Blaze was very accommodating and picked me up at the hotel directly. I was travelling solo and have some mobility issues and he was extremely helpful, respectful and accommodating. Blaze was able to convey the history of every site he took me to and walked with me as a private guide through each location. This was a great trip of a lifetime and I think we both had fun. The tuk tuk was comfortable and I felt safe as a solo adventurer. Blaze was a perfect guide and I could not have asked for a better experience.

We decided to take a tour of Colombo on New Year's Eve with Blaze and had an amazing time exploring this wonderful city.
Blaze is an excellent tour guide, host and all round great guy. He showed us tourist favourites as well as local spots and was happy to share personal stories of life in the city which made the experience even more enjoyable. He was also happy to recommend us a local spot for food which was delicious.
