We had a fabulous, informative tuk tuk tour with Ahilan. His communication before the tour was great and he was very punctual. He gave us time to see all the different sights, took photos of us and explained the history and significance of each place we visited. We also appreciated the cold water and king coconut water. Thanks Ahilan for a great morning in Colombo!

We hired tuk-tuks for 4 (wife, son, daughter-in-law and self) to meet us at 9am for a tour of Colombo. Because our ship had to wait for a berth, we didn’t get to the pick-up point till about 11am. This was no problem for our drivers Raja and Faiz. We had two well turned out tuk-tuks that took us to all the sites on the itinerary. Our drivers were remarkably courteous to other road users, and obviously got on with each other, which was a real plus. They stopped wherever we wanted and gave us a lot of local knowledge. They found us a cafe for a vegan lunch (excellent for my son and daughter-in-law). I had been to Colombo in the 1990s and we located several of the places I had know then, and saw much that had changed (generally from the better). Raja and Faiz got us back in good time to return to the ship, and we parted as friends

Ahilan is a great driver and guide. We always felt very safe in his Tuk Tuk. He happily and proudly shared many highlights, as well the history of Colombo. It was a very hot day, and I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful the breeze was! It was a fun way to see the city.

Ahilan communicated well with us on Whatsapp before our trip, sending a photo of the port gate so we knew exactly where to meet him. He was a great tuk tuk driver. He took us to all the main sights in Colombo, giving us lots of information as we went along. He was always very considerate when we wanted to take photos , stopping the tuk tuk so we could take good shots. The king coconut and bottle of water were also very welcome. Thanks for a great morning Ahilan!
