We enjoyed the experience however the car we travelled in was uncomfortable for the 3 guests in the back seat, especially when exiting and entering between the various stops. A minimum six seater vehicle would have been more appropriate for the 4 of us. The driver/guide spoke very good English, very nice man and was a very safe driver in the busy traffic. We covered all the sights promised but would have been happy to miss out the Gem Store and Tea Factory shop.

Our driver Calli was brilliant, very knowledgeable and good sense of humour. He took us around all the sites, and was our guide also. While we were visiting one of the temples, there had been a wedding and Calli took us through to where the food was and to help ourselves and had a cup of tea. That was pretty special moment. Would definitely recommend this tour

Not worth the money - saw very little of the city.

The temple was interesting but the rest of the trip was a waste of time. Following a quick tour of the temple we visited a jewellery shop (which we had said we weren’t interested in) and a tea shop who was a relative of the driver. We then did a quick 10 minute tour of the city on route back to the ship. We would have done better to have arranged our own visit with a private taxi! The driver was more interested in complaining about the current government than telling us anything about the city buildings!

Higher recomended. Best way to see the city

Tour operator was excellent. We had a group of eight. The ship was boarded two hours late. and the tour operator still waited for us. Tuk Tuk ride was exciting. Going in and out of heavy traffic . Tour operator even offered to pick us up after the culture show with no extra charge. Higher recommended

Outstanding experience on our city tour in Colombo

Our guide Chindhaka was amazing!!! he took us to the Hindu and Buddhist Temple. He took us to a tea store and to a gym store, where my husband purchased a sapphire. The highlight of my adventure was to see the elephants in the park where I got some great pictures. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable .

I booked the tour for my family of 6. I was able to communicate with tour company via WhatsApp as early as October. I find that really helpful. As soon as we got if the gangway, we could see the tour company booth already. Tour guide was friendly but spoke minimal English. I felt he was more of a chaperone than a tour guide. Couldn't answer some of the questions about history of some places. Conversation got a bit dry after a while so we requested to be dropped off at a shopping mall (One Galle Face Mall) for last part of the tour, arranged a time for them to pick us up to head back to our ship.

Careful and attentive driver. Informative tour. Surprised to see the Elephant at the temple. Religion was well explained. Unfortunately, my wife suffered from heat stress, and we had to call the tour short. The only tour group to offer pick-up right at the ship.

Adequate but felt more of a sales tour than places of interest

Was just us and a driver, sadly very hard to understand what he was saying. Went to sone, but not all of the places on the list, but seemed quite as hoc as to which ones we happened to pass. Went to 4 places (gems, Sri Lankan goods, and tea) where there was hard sales. Felt the tour focused too much on this, obviously the company are on commission!

Good tour to see Colombo

Our tour guide and driver, Kapila, was great. The temple was about a 40 minute drive from port. Very ancient temple with beautiful artwork inside. City tour was good with some stops at main points of interest in city

PRADEEP did an outstanding job giving us tour of the city. The tour office is at the port, so there is no need to go to the port which is hard to get to. I would book this tour over a ship tour ..because it was private. ASK. FOR PRADEEP
