The tour was great with a guidé that had good knowledge and expérience. Nothing to sa about the tour itself. But the friends coming with me to do our pre reserved tour were charged 30$ less than i was charged while buying one month in advance...

Very good tour. Our Driver/Guide Dinesh was very knowledgable and informative, a difficult job when trying to give us as much information as possible but trying to negotiate the Colombo traffic. The tour is a good introduction to the city and gives a taste for areas that could be investigated independently. One downside to tours like this, is that you are taken to shops/outlets which are presumably well known to the tour company but do not necessarily sell very good quality goods and naturally enough are keen to push sales to you. Its a real waste of time and whilst the tour includes shopping time this is not the best way to do it. Other than that, I would recommend the tour, it was good value for money and we were taken to a restaurant for lounge which was very good.

The arrangement for the City Tour by VIATOR / M/s Sonata Walkers was excellent in all respects. The pick-up at the Hotel was on time and all places as per the itenery were covered. The Car was very good and the chauffeur Mr. Subhash Deshand ? was excellent in taking us around in the car as well in explaining as a Tour Guide in very good English.
This Day Tour by VIATOR/Sonata Walkers is real value for money and a very happy experience indeed!

My husband and I enjoyed our city tour with Chari, our guide. He was quite engaging as he gave us an overview of Colombo and a brief history of Sri Lanka. We absolutely loved the fact that he was very flexible with our lunch arrangements - skipped on the buffet lunch and went to Ministry of Crab instead. The Crabzilla in Ministry of Crab was superb. It was a wonderful day!

This was our first trip to Colombo, its a very colorful, chaotic and confusing city for most. We found it that way even with our guide, he was trying so hard to give us a tour, but it was clear he needed more experience, A super nice guy, very friendly, good customer service.. but his knowledge of some areas and his very thick accent made it hard to grasp his narration, which was limited. The traffic was over-the-top and our driver seemed to be going in some circles, but because we had no maps it was hard to understand where we were, We spent way too much time in the van which had great AC and Water. Over all I gave it 3 stars. Wished it had been more!

We are so glad we did this tour. We went to different temples, and our guide Chamika gave us excellent information about the temples, and we learned a lot about the culture and the religion hindu and buddhism. We also got to see different parts of the city. We thought it was a fantastic tour, and would recommend it to everybody who wants to see Colombo in just one day. Chamika brought water, which was very good, because it was quite hot.

This is a fantastic tour! We basically enjoyed every minute of it with our amazing guide. Daishan is such a knowledgeable person who looks after his customers as if they were very close friends. His English is excellent and his driving skills are brilliant given that driving in Colombo is a real challenge. You'll know everything you need to know about Colombo in this private tour in a relaxed and comfortable manner. Visits to the temples were especially unique. Great experience!

We were off a cruise ship and had just 7 hours in Columbo. I can think of few better ways of using Google the time than going on this tour. We had been in Columbo some 20 years ago. How things have changed.

This tour was amazing, Chanika, our tour guide, was very friendly and kind. He took me and my husband to different places and temples in Colombo, he was very knowledgable and patient.

The pick-up from the port did not work, the statement “They will be picked up at the ship and the guide has a sign with their name” did not take place. The guide spoke only English , booked and promised was a German guide.
