The trip was really interesting. Communication prior to the trip was simple and straight forward. The company offered to pick us up from our Old Town Cluj hotel rather than the pick-up point and at the end of the tour to drop us at the airport as we were flying home in the evening.
Dorin was a super guide. We had a couple of older guys on the tour. He allowed us all to progress at our own pace. Dorin was knowledgeable on the tour details / history.
Lunch was at a nice traditional Romanian restaurant. Food was good and not too pricey.
If you have a day spare in Cluj i would recommend this tour.

The salt mine was a good experience, bring a vest, it is cool. I really liked hiking up to the fortress. Lunch in the village was nice. We made an extra stop at a small nunnery and at the gorge for those who were interested in zip lining. The group was only 4 and the guide went out of his way to make it a nice tour.

Fascinating tour and the salt mine was really interesting and amazing and much better than anticipated. Mihail, our guide, was very knowledgeable and charming and as far as the visits to Rimetea and Coltesti were concerned we were handicapped by very wet weather conditions so did not walk up to the fortress but he was very accommodating and drove us up to a vantage point where we were able to get a good view of it. Lunch at super Hungarian restaurant and interesting commentary on the way to and from central Cluj-Napoca.

It was a wonderful day guided by expertise Guide. We have learned a lot on the history of Romania. Our first stop in Salt Mine was a special impression. Continued to Rimetea Village where we visited a peaceful village. We had our next stop for Lunch at Székelykő Mansion Conacul Secuiesc. An excellent Romanian Hungarian cuisine with a friendly service from the restaurant. The final stop was at Trascău Fortress, we hiked to the top.
It was a great day and we really enjoyed the full journey. Thank you to Cristian our best Guide.

Andrei was friendly, professional & knowledgeable. He went out of his way to show me somethingvi asked about that wasn't on the tinerary. The salt mine was very interesting. The hike to the fortress was short, but beautiful! I had a great day!

Turds Salt Mines was surprisingly interesting and the village quite lovely. We also stopped at the ruins of a Roman legion camp in Turda which wasn't on the trip itinerary at our request which was appreciated. We decided not to walk up to ruined fortress as it was a 45 min.walk uphill. Had a lovely meal. Andre, our guide, was wonderful. We learned so much Romanian history from him

De zoutmijn is commercieel, maar daardoor kan je er ook zoveel van zien. Rimetea is een mooi dorp en we hebben ook de gorges gedaan en dit zou eigenlijk wel inbegrepen kunnen zijn in zo een dag trip.
