Mr Nan our tour guide did a fantastic job. He told us all about the culture, explained the history of the temples, and made sure we had plenty of time at each location. He positioned us well to see the Monk’s chanting and explained it in detail. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful tour. Thanks Nan.

This tour was an ideal option for us staying in a remote location 25 minutes drive from Chiang Mai. It allowed us to visit the three most spectacular temples located around the city, which would be otherwise difficult when relying on a taxi or tuk-tuk.

We loved our trip to the temples with our guide Gobi at AP tours and our driver Boo. They were both knowledgeable about Thai history, the temples, and Chiang Mai culture. Not only was Gobi kind to us but he was helpful, kind, and outgoing to other travelers around us. We would take a tour again with them anytime. The air conditioned car was a real blessing. All three temples were a valuable experience because each was quite different from the next.

This tour was wonderful! Our driver & tour guide picked us up & dropped us off at our accommodation. Peter, our tour guide spoke great English & gave us so much history about Chiang Mai & Thailand & the temples there. It was incredible to witness the monks chant & go inside all of the temples! This was an AMAZING tour. When I booked it I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Our guide was wonderful. We went to 3 temples, and each one got better and better. It was such a great break from being in the bustling chaos of the temples in Bangkok. These temples are 100s of years old very quiet and meditative. The icing on the cake was at the end when we got to experience monks chanting at Doi Suthep, which is on top of the mountain overlooking Chiang Mai. A very beautiful and spiritual experience. Highly recommend!

Pick up and drop off were on time. The driver managed the conditions up the mountain well. He had a good sense of humour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. The first two sites were very interesting, not so touristy or busy even on the weekend. The tunnels were a bit too busy for meditation so we meditated at another place which was extremely quiet and peaceful, allowing us to take in the sounds of nature. I previously visited Doi Suthep earlier in the same day so I wasnt expecting much but I got to see a lot more compared to the morning. We saw monks chanting at around 6pm and the view from the viewpoint was much better.

Nous avons passé une très agréable demi-journée avec la visite du temple Umong, du Doi Suthep et également du Wat Pha Lat qui n'était pas mentionné dans le programme, mais qui vaut vraiment le détour sur le chemin du Doi Suthep. Nous avions réalisé le jour précédent la visite des temples de Chiang Rai avec le même prestataire AP Good Travel qui nous a proposé un guide francophone pour cette visite. Nous avons donc bénéficié d'une excellente guide s'exprimant parfaitement en français. Tout était vraiment parfait !
