We were picked up in a truck with a back seat. Driver did not speak English. Got there at 2:40. Driver said 4:00 and pointed to his truck. This was not a tour as advertised. Driver stopped for gas on the way home and back at our hotel at 5:00 pm. We should have found our own taxi ride. Would have been cheaper.

Trips are easy to navigate and meet the group. The water falls and the ride to them was awesome. I just wish we where given a little more time. The van ride there was awkward, because are driver didn't know any english

We enjoyed the afternoon had a fab group, beautiful falls but busy, and the delays getting up for insta posing was a bit annoying, driver was great, stopped for air con regas so Thailand lol. Would recommend for a visit though x

I would like to share my feedback regarding the tour to the Sticky Waterfall on 12 Feb 2026
We were scheduled to be picked up at 13:30, but the actual pick-up did not occur until 13:45. While I understand that a slight delay can happen, I believe this could be better managed to ensure a smoother schedule.
Additionally, when the group was supposed to leave the Three Kings Monument, the couple sharing our shuttle requested to stop for coffee, and the driver agreed. This caused a further delay of around 10 + minutes. Considering that we had already started late, it was quite disappointing that other guests’ personal errands were allowed to affect the group’s itinerary.
As a result, we only arrived at the Sticky Waterfall around 15:15, leaving us with less than an hour to explore after accounting for the walk to the site and restroom time. The waterfall closes at 16:30, and the website stated that participants would have approximately two hours to enjoy the area, which was not the case.
Furthermore, the driver asked everyone to remove their shoes at the top of the waterfall before descending. I found this unprofessional, as I had brought anti-slip, waterproof shoes specifically designed for this type of activity. Walking barefoot was painful and slowed both me and my friend down.
I hope you will review this incident and take steps to improve the tour schedule, communication, and professionalism of the driver to ensure a better experience for future guests.
Thank you for taking the time to look into this matter.

You need to be in a good physical condition to climb up the waterfalls. Some parts are more inclined. It was fun and I would recommend it.

Tour experience seems inconsistent and directly related to whoever is assigned to be your guide. We had one person who was both the driver and "guide." He said maybe 2 words to us the entire trip, dropped us off at the end of the parking lot and pointed to the direction of the falls, waited for us to get back to the van (1 hour 20 minutes allotted for the falls), and then drove us back to the central meeting point. It was essentially just a van transfer to and from the falls, which seemed so different compared to many other reviews about this activity! We had considered a songthaew, but were quoted 1500 Baht for the trip from Chiang Mai, and after a treacherous journey in the heat/windy roads up to Doi Suthep in a songthaew the day before we opted to pay a bit more for an air conditioned and more comfortable ride, and what we thought was a guided tour. That being said, we did enjoy the Sticky Waterfall and felt it was a really unique experience! It was quite busy on the Friday afternoon when we went with many standstills along the way, unclear if this is the same in the morning.
All in all, I'd probably take this trip again for a two person group where taking a songthaew isn't substantially less than this tour, just to have a more comfy ride. But if you're a larger group you could likely get a better price dividing a 1500 Baht songthaew between a larger group of people. And if you're looking for an interactive guide, you may just have to cross your fingers that you get that type of guide on the day of your tour as we did not!

Very smooth and well organized. The falls themselves are a lot of fun. Just watch out for mossy spots, but these are rare and easy to see-don’t step on anything green. Obviously, if you’re going to climb the falls you should be in reasonably decent shape. Very cool experience.

The activity itself was great but the check in process was chaotic. There were multiple groups in the square and it was difficult to determine where to find the group. I would suggest having a sign. We wasted 45 minutes with just the organization. This could’ve been avoided with a sign with the tour name on it. The experience of the waterfalls was fun! I do recommend people to see and experience walking up the waterfalls.

Very nice place. We took an afternoon trip. There were some people but still no problem to get pictures. I was there with my family, wife and 2 kids on 5 and 8 they loved it.
The steeper climbs is only allowed at the age of 7.
We had a very good trip

This experience would have been a five if it weren’t for our driver. The falls themselves and the park were beautiful, and the guide Eddie was fantastic. However, our driver was reckless- on his phone/Tiktok while driving and almost crashed so many times. Finally someone in our group said something, but not until after I was considerably car sick and scared. Again, Eddie was awesome and made the rest of the tour really fun. He needs a new assistant.

Very helpful tour guide...was in the water with us and helped everyone with navigating and safety. Took plenty of pictures for the group amd sent them to us afterwards.

Takes a bit of a level of fitness but so worth it! Mr M was great, showed me the easier route up. I was so pleased that i accomplished it! Waterfall was beautiful! I can highly recommend Mr M

Great day out, the activities where really well run and the elephants where well looked after. The hike was really good , bring water shoes as there is alot of walking in watering and crossing slippery rocks.
earlynealexander, Nov 2025
The experience was energizing. I enjoyed the waterfall climb, our guide Mr. M, and the group was with. I definitely recommend this activity. It’s worth taking the time. FYI - there is an easy climb and a hard climb. With the encouragement of Mr. M, I took the hard climb which wasn’t too difficult to maneuver. My only negative is the late pick up. I’m a stickler for time.

Our guide was fantastic, drove us and then did the waterfall route with us, taking photos and being really helpful. Drove us all the way back to hotels as well, would highly recommend.
Ciara_R, Sep 2025
The waterfalls were really good. It takes about 20 minutes from the bottom to the top. It should be made clear that this is just a transfer to the waterfalls and back and not a guided tour..
Han_Z, Jul 2025
There was no guide but the driver was polite and dropped me off at the waterfalls after agreeing to a pick up time. The waterfall itself is worth the trip to see it but since there was no guide, I had to ask strangers to help take photos of me.
Van was nicely air conditioned but it was essentially a glorified taxi ride.

Our guide Mr M was very helpful, kind and patient. He was brilliant with those who were slow and unsteady on foot. He guided us through every tricky spot with ease and was conscious of safety at all times. I would totally recommend climbing Sticky Falls, even better with M as a guide.
Isabelle_S, Apr 2025
Mr. M is a great guide. He adapted the activity for everyone's level of fitness. The natural setting is beautiful and water is refreshing. I highly recommend.

Best trip in Chiang Mai ! VIP service, comfy transport, knowledgeable guide, didn’t feel rushed but we were back on time! Lots of fun, thank you Mr Waterfall !!
Ruth_B, Feb 2025
Great fun visiting the waterfalls - it is a beautiful spot. It is fun climbing up the waterfalls but you do have to be careful as some bits are slippy and done parts are quite high.
It takes an hour to get there and I could not edit by booking to ask for hotel pick up which is offered as part of the trip , so head to go to tbd meet point ( which is very central and easy to find).
It is an enjoyable trip and worth doing but not the trip highlight
Angela_H, Jan 2025
The sticky waterfall is fun/unique and is much better than other waterfalls in Southeast Asia. My husband and daughter climbed 2-3 stages. They skipped the last stage and took the stairs instead. I took the stairs and followed along and took tons of pictures. I highly recommend this tour.
The tour guide is very knowledgeable of history and we have enjoyed learning about the culture and tourist destinations while driving back from the waterfall.
Gaibo_Z, Dec 2024
The elephant sanctuary was a lot of fun. Our guide tuk tuk is great and very knowledgeable. She made the experience very fun.
Irina_G, Dec 2024
The waterfall is so different and a very cool experience. The whole thing is rushed!!!
One hour is simply not enough to enjoy the experience. Also soliciting of the 5 stars review by the tour operators is over the top annoying.
HELOISE_S, Feb 2026
Very original activity at 1h15 from Chiang Mai. Atypical, but victim of its success many people.
