Great day trip, totally recommend it.
The whole day was great. First we had a short excursion to the Gibbons, then we visited the Waterfalls and in the end the Mae Kampong main village. What we liked best was to see the Gibbons in their natural habitat, but also that our guides shared their knowledge about local foods and plants. We really enjoyed the day a lot!

Fantastic day out in the...
Fantastic day out in the mountains, so much knowledge was shared about the local fauna and flora. It was amazing to see the local family of gibbons. The guides were amazing and very friendly. Can’t recommend it enough if you like nature and mountains! Also the restaurant we ate for lunch was delicious.

Terrific day with lovely people
Our guide was so happy and fun. She gave us up close experiences with gibbons, and jungle flora. So much fascinating information about the plants and their uses. The villagers of Mae Kampong obviously like her too.

Really a great day and a fantastic experience
First and foremost - our guide was extraordinary - above and beyond what you would expect - Thank you.
We were fortunate to get to the gibbon monkeys - no doubt because our guide somehow knew when they were treated with fruit.
The hike, the Mae Kampong village and the knowledge of an addinational local guide on flora and fauna made it a great day.
Last but not least - the driver of our little bus was skilled - it flet safe to drive with him

Guided walk & info of local village
Short, easy walk on well-maintained trail. Our guide was very knowledgeable about local plants and with our contributions she helps out the local community.

We got so lucky to get TK as our tour guide. Her personality is very bubbly and cute. She answered all of our silly questions and helped me with a bug bite by putting some gel on.
The trekking was very scenic and with the local guide super informative. We touched, smelled and tasted everything that we could and allowed during the trip.
Due to a funeral, our schedule needed to be amended, so we had an early lunch at a café on the top of the mountain with a breathtaking view. A drink and a dish included, and you won't be disappointed. Very delicious drinks and food will await.
The waterfall route was a bit hectic, going up and down but it totally worth it.
After going through the village during our free time, we headed to see the gibbons.
There was no sightings of them so far, but we were very hopeful.
We spent a lot of time waiting and trekking thriught the jungle without a luck. After waiting another 20 minutes, we headed back to our van.
After 8 minutes of walking, we got a call that the pair came to their spot. We rushed back to the place to catch a glimpse of them, and there they were. We stayed there for quite a while to follow them a bit, and watching them from a safe distance. It's an core memory now!
We got very, very lucky to see them, especially at the very last minute.
I hope that whoever ends up on this tour, will get to see them and have this memory locked as well.
As mentioned, don't hesitate to book this tour! Oh, and if you can, ask for TK.

100% Recommended - Fantastic day out.
An absolutely excellent tour from pick up to drop off. From the driver with the most infectious laugh ever, through our lovely, knowledgeable guide, to the local village guides and the quiet man who takes care of the gibbons, everyone was lovely, helpful and caring. The drive up is interesting, the village a haven of tranquility. The trek was stunning, and we learnt a lot about trees, plants and herbs. The waterfalls are gorgeous. Lunch very tasty and the coffee stop was in a stunning cafe with great views. 100% recommended.
