Take the train for experience

Great trip. The company had just put this together when we headed to Chiang Mai and we signed up. Glad we did. We took to the rail and enjoyed seeing farms, rice patties, old homes and life inland that we missed when on the road. Our tour guide was fun, knowledgeable. He was inspired to learn about things from our culture, as we loved learning about his. He is about to be married and we wished him well for next month. I absolutely encourage people to take this trip – which used to be by steam but now diesel. The ride back via van to the hotel was nice. FIVE STARS!!
