The Good, The Bad, and The Bitterly Disappointing

Puoc went out of his way to be helpful. The food was good, well-prepared and plentiful. My cabin was pleasant although a fellow passenger was given a room over the generator with only an opaque window which was sealed shut. There are only three cabins. I enjoyed the kayaking. However, although I had informed them three times it was my birthday, no cake appeared, no birthday wishes. It was my 75th, a landmark birthday, and I had chosen this cruise as a way of celebrating it. As it turned out it was a non-event and although I tried to chalk it up to experience I was very didappointed: you only get one chance at a 75th. I don't even like cake but that wasn't the point. I wanted to share my soecial day with my fellow passengers. Our guide had "only been told that morning". Last of all I have had gastro-intentional troubles ever since. I think this may have been because of the drinks swimming in melting ice which was most likely not filtered.
