The whole day was amazing, our tour guide named Ulrich aka GG was the best, he told us everything about everything, he was professional and kind. Wine was nice as well as lunch spot and tram ride. Can recommend!

Good but room for improvement.

Fairview and Muratie were excellent tastings. The wine tram and Rickety Bridge did not meet my expectations. We were dropped off at a market at Franchoek to get lunch!! Not much choice and no place to dit and eat. Would have preferred lunch at a winery restaurant which looked very nice.

Thanks so much for taking time to inform us of your experience on this exciting wine tour. We're so happy that you loved the older Fairview and Muratie wine estates tastings and it's a pity that the Franschhoek wineries and activities did not live up to expectations this time. The market is across the road from the main street dotted with cafes, deli's and restaurants for a sit down lunch option. Guests have lunch time free to explore the small town at leisure, and we've added a note on the guide's brief for this trip to give more suggestions for lunch too. Ice Cream and wine pairing

This tour is outstanding. Our guide skillfully managed driving the van through some crowded and congested streets while providing interesting commentary about the multicultural community of Cape Town. She also was a marvelous resource for activities around Cape Town. The wineries included in the itinerary were well thought out. I particularly enjoyed the ice cream and wine pairing and wine paired with biltong. Don’t miss this excursion.

We had a wonderful day seeing a part of the cape that we would not have if not for this tour. Our guide, Andrew, was excellent. Our pickup at the hotel was right on time. Andrew did everything throughout the day to make sure that we were comfortable. Our first stop was at a Dutch wine farm where we were able to wander around the lavender fields, see the farm animals and how the farm operates. Our stop for lunch was great food which ended with an unusual paring of ice cream and wine. Our final stop of the day may have been a favorite, Ernie Els Winery. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio where there was a chipping green set up. All of us had multiple attempts of making the hole with one shot. It was a fun way to end the day.

Our driver, Gerhard, was very knowledgeable of the region. We started out at Ernie Ells winery and were totally amazed at the gardens and facility. The next two after that were not as impressive. Our second winery we felt that we had to wait on the staff more than expected. Loved the idea at the Stollenbosch Hills of pairing the meats with the wines. The whole trip was relaxed and we mostly moved at our own speed. Even Gerhard was OK with that!
