He talked a lot about the local area and what we were seeing. The penguin experience was overrated because of our past experience but is you only saw penguins at a zoo I’m sure they would have enjoyed the experience.

This tour packs a lot in a full day! We started with a ride up the incline to Table Mountain then stopped at Bo-Kaap for pictures and a quick history lesson in the morning. Next stop was a fabulous lunch overlooking the ocean with a great view. In the afternoon we watched the penguins frolicking in the ocean then took pictures at “the sign” at the Cape of Good Hope then climbed up to the lighthouse. We capped off the day with a ride home along the beaches to watch the sun set over the Atlantic. Gift was a fabulous guide and made sure everything went smoothly. He knew all the shortcuts to make sure we saw everything without feeling rushed. What a great day!

He changed the itinerary as we requested and gave us the extra time we wanted at Cape Point and at Boulders. Don’t book with these people. Total scam. Promised a private tour for the two of us and they arrived with a bus load of people. Nothing private about it.

Due to a rare internal mapping error, your reservation was incorrectly mapped as a shared tour instead of the private tour experience you had originally booked. This is not the standard we aim to uphold in delivering high-quality Cape Town private tours and personalised travel experiences.
As soon as we identified the mistake, we made every effort to resolve the situation by arranging a dedicated tour guide and offering the same private tour option. We do understand, however, that you chose not to proceed with this arrangement.

Capetown is a wonderful place with lots of natural beauty. Our tour allowed us to see and experience the beauty of the city. There are too many highlights to name but Table Top Mountain and Cape of Good Hope are must do's. This tour covers every must see place in Capetown. Our tour guide was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the City and the Country. He made sure that we enjoyed our day and provided excellent service.

A very good way to see many of the prime sights in and around Cape Town if you have limited time - the only downside being that naturally quite a lot of travelling between the sites and locations, is required. Our guide and driver, Ray, was very knowledgeable and informative throughout the trip and made our day interesting. He also took us to an excellent place for a quick bite at lunchtime and ended the tour at a fascinating and very long established spice shop, Atlas, which was unexpected.
Wonderfull tour with Japhet. We made a trip very complet, and he explained all very well.
He was very patient and gave us all the time we needed.

We traveled with Jeff Mathenga and it was an extraordinary great trip. Jeff is the best guide we could have! All his recommendations and advices were perfect. We started for a one day tour in Cape Town traveling first to Table mountain and all places around. It was amazing his extra spots and Foto stops on the Chapman's Peak Drive, Camps Bay Beach, Cape point Lighthouse, Boulders beach with lovely Pinguins and Cape of Good hope. The stop for lunch was a perfect spot!! Fantastic good food, relaxing place and we‘ve been happy traveling with Jeff!!! Back in the city he showed us a lot of the town ended at Bo-Kaap and V&A Waterfront for shopping and dinner. We will be happy when coming back to CT traveling with him again! We fully recommend him because of his knowledge. He could explain so many things about the country and people. It was interesting and very informative for us. We think very positive back to our trip and highly recommend Jeff to all CT travelers! The Team from Viator tours was great when we decided to change spontaneously to the CT trip with additional trip to table mountain. Thanks again!!

What a great full day. We were able to experience the entire Cape. beautiful scenery. Very knowledgeable guide. We had a fantastic drive. during the day got to see everything we wanted to. Highly recommend doing this tour.
The tour was a full and extremely engaging day with some incredible sites and experiences. The cable car was closed due to high winds but we were able to experience a seal cruise as an alternative which the kids (and everyone) loved. The wildlife spotting (ostrich, caracal, baboons) was an added bonus which as unexpected. Our tour guide Wilson was knowledgeable and provided insights throughout the day regarding the history and geography of the region. He ensured we got the most out of the experience and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.

Very fulfilled day, saw the best of Capetown highlights. I wish we had more time cuz I didn’t expect this much of nature beauty from the mother city. Also the tour guide picked us up in a Mercedes, which is so comfortable. Jeff is also very accommodating and explained a lot of history. Good trip! We enjoyed it a lot!
We highly recommend the "Table Mountain, Boulder's Penguins & Cape Point Private Tour from Cape Town", as it was a full day of exceptional experiences with once-in-a-lifetime views, sights, and close up contact with nature.
Table Mountain is other worldly and not to be missed. We took the 45 minute "hike", which is a lovely and easy walk on mostly level ground. We enjoyed the many breathtaking vistas on Table Mountain. Definitely not to be missed!
Boulder penguins were so adorable. They are fun to see up close and enjoy as they play in the surf and waddle around the sand and brush.
Cape Point is beautifully rugged and rich in history. We got to see wild ostriches and baboons along the roadway during our drive to and from these sights.
We were especially fortunate to have ZANE as our driver and personal guide for the day. Zane was knowledgeable, humerous, and charismatic. Zane truly made the day extra special with his humor, kindness, and knowledge that he shared with us about the sites we visited and the history of South Africa, and Cape Town. It was a terrific day all around!
We had a beautiful day, Zaine was an amazing host and guide for the day. So knowledgeable about all the areas we saw and gave us plenty of time in each location. Was just my mother and I and he took great care of us. Perfect day!
Mark was a professionally friendly and very informative tour guide/driver who made our day a very enjoyable one.

This tour provides a great opportunity to experience local natural resources and communities around Cape Town. Our guide was exceptional and it was a pleasure to spend the better part of the day with him, hearing his stories and taking in his experiences around the area. We opted for a private tour so we could go at our own pace, and that was very much how it went. The weather prevented us from taking the tram to the top of Table Mountain on the day of our tour, but our prepaid tickets were good for a week so we went the next afternoon and it was still wonderful. Great tour. Great guide. Very clean vehicle.

Small group tour ended up as a private tour for my co-worker and I. Due to floods and road blockages, our driver customized the trip for us to get maximum views. Fog and wind closed Table Mountain. Luckily the ticket allowed us a few days to still go up the next day.

First of all, the freedom and flexibility to see the sights at your own leisure is absolutely worth the price! It was such an enjoyable day that I’m writing this review on the same day, after a nap because we did SO much. I’m sure the other guides are sufficient but the one you need is Barnabas! He was friendly, knowledgeable and we laughed like old friends. His attentive, kind nature made this the best tour ever. If we could use his services for the remainder of our trip I would have told him to name his price. Request him…you won’t be disappointed. A time was had on our first full day in Cape Town and it was due to Barnabas.
Tips: Cell service gets spotty around the ocean and mountains. Print out all of your attraction tickets. That made things easier. Be sure to keep the papers handy even after scanning, you have to scan twice (return) at some places. Cape Town is windy…seeing the penguins was great but we left with sand everywhere. I’m talking feet, face and on our bags. Bring sunglasses to help shield your eyes. Chapman’s Peak drive is closed on Wednesdays for repair until 4pm. Stop by the ostrich farm after leaving Cape Point - you won’t be disappointed and don’t have to get out of the car to see a friend or two. The Flying Dutchman is your friend unless you want to walk 2 miles from the parking lot and THEN take 8 flights of stairs up to the lighthouse. It does not go up to the actual top though. Bring a backup charger…unless you have Barnabas, who had one for us. LOTS of photo and video taking. I know people say CT is modern and you can use your card. Get some Rand, even if it’s just $250 worth. I’ve done a lot of tipping since arriving. Again, being in a private car and getting in and out (especially when you see the never ending amount of buses full of passengers) is worth every dime!

This was a great comprehensive tour of the highlights of Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope.
Joel picked us up in his new & clean Mercedes sedan and was agreeable to customizing the tour. He was a safe and careful driver, knowledgeable and added to our day by taking photos and gave us great information about our stay in the Mother City.
Highly recommend Joel and this tour. You won't be disappointed.

We had a great tour guide, Reuban. He was very knowledgeable and gave great information and historical facts to all the places we went to. My only frustration was having to pre-buy tickets on our own. It would have been helpful if the tour company could have done that on our behalf and charged us. Also, it was not easy to deal with the tour company administrator. The guide himself was very good.
