This was an absolutely lovely tour. Although some of the key wineries are closed on Sundays, our tour guide Lynn found us some wonderful tasting rooms where we sampled some fantastic wines. Lynn was absolutely the best!

Wineries were very nice. Sommelier were very informative.
All wineries required a fee per person. Each had a different fee. Victor fee does not include wine tasting fees - Viator makes that clear.

We are experienced wine travelers and our excellent tour guide Mike customized the wineries and sites we visited to our tastes and desires. We had a busy morning with some excellent stops at Fairview, Kanonkop (vintage tasting a must!), delas Graff (fancy digs and art), Tokara (cognac!) and Stark Conde (great lunch spot) to name a few. Sprinkle in a Stellenbosch U town visit and market walk through made for a grand experience in the wine country. A highway fire and Stormers Rigby match were no match for Mike’s insider navigational knowledge and positive demeanor along with a wealth of knowledge about the area and history. A wonderful wine country tour we highly recommend.

Werner was an amazing guide, adapting our tour to the wine’s we prefer to drink. Together either the wine tasting, it eas fantastic to look the region and the visited wineries .

Started our holiday in Africa in Capetown, with Mike as our guide. He went above and beyond to show us the beauty of the region, and as a native Capetownian his knowledge (and love) of the land was extraordinary. The wineries we visited were all terrific, with tastes and personalities unique to each. Wonderful start to vacation!

The absolute BEST day!! Mike was our driver for the day and he planned such an amazing day! He was so knowledgeable about Cape Town, the surrounding activities in the area, and of course the wineries! We got such a unique experience seeing multiple different wineries that had different things to offer. I contemplated doing the local wine tram versus doing a private driver and I am so happy I went with the private driver. I could not recommend Mike more as a tour guide! He made our day the best it could possibly be. We will dream about that day for years to come!

We had a wonderful day with Mike Klerck. It started with coffee at a unique cafe before heading to the wine district. As it was a Sunday some wineries were closed but with his knowledge, we visited 4 very different wineries. Some had wonderful views or a different way of presenting their wines providing an unique experience at each one
As well as being a guide, he was a great driver and a great conversational with his unique background. We would recommend Mike without hesitation and would certainly use him for any tours in the Cape Town region.

Mike was so flexible and easy to work with! We enjoyed the wine tasting and he took us to some unique venues. Our 12 year old granddaughter was with us and he went out of the way to find stops that would appeal to her to break the trip and maintain her interest. Would recommend Mike to all! He found a wonderful place for lunch. Had a variety of food so everyone was happy Great day

Many thank to our tour guide Michael our family of four had a wonderful time in the Cape Winelands. I recommend this private tour to anyone who decide to visit Cape Town. It was a perfect day our tour guide was prompt, informative and attentive. The drive was picturesque along the way. Every winery he took us to was beautiful. Stunning view at lunch overlook the beautiful vineyard.

The Cape Winelands tour was truly a highlight of our stay in Cape Town. Our tour guide, Dave, made it memorable and fun. Because it was a private tour, we were able to customize appropriately. We were able to fit a lot of activities into one day: two wineries, a chocolate tasting, tours of Franschoek and Stellenbosch towns and a wonderful lunch. Many tours like this will dump you at a tourist trap for lunch, but Dave chose ROCA restaurant for us where the food was delicious and the views were stunning. Dave filled the day with interesting anecdotes about the places we visited, and gave us wonderful insights into the wine country and South African life. I would be happy to recommend Dave to anyone visiting Cape Town. Really exceptional tour.
