We were a group of three men, two of us complete beginners, and we had an excellent experience with Daniel.
We started by visiting the Salsa Museum, where Daniel translated every part clearly and thoroughly. His English is very strong, and his explanations were not only informative but full of context and passion. You can tell he truly loves salsa not just the dance, but its history and cultural significance.
Daniel is also an excellent dancer and a great teacher. After the Salsa class officially ended, he took extra time to help the beginners review and reinforce the steps, making sure no one felt rushed or left behind.
Beyond salsa, Daniel is very well-cultured and easy to talk to, able to hold conversations on many topics. He’s friendly, approachable, and genuinely generous with his time.
As a gay man, I especially appreciated how inclusive and respectful he was. I asked him to partner dance with me as a lead after class, and he didn’t hesitate at all. He made me feel completely comfortable and affirmed that dance is dance. That sense of acceptance made the experience even more meaningful.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cali—whether you’re a beginner or already love salsa, Daniel creates a thoughtful, inclusive, and memorable experience.

The tour was great. The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history. We went to very local salsa clubs and danced alongside with them. Doesn’t matter what lever your dancing is at, everyone is welcomed. The closing show was great as well. Highly recommend.

The tour is surprisingly deep and long. Totally worth it. It is also one of the very few options to do a salsa tour in Cali in English. Carlos Mario was an incredible guide. We didn’t know how to dance, but by the end of the evening we were willing to continue learning!

I would recommend visiting Cali just for this experience. Susanna is a brilliant host who is truly passionate about Salsa and Cali. The tour is very well designed covering all the varieties of salsa, history around it while you learn some very cool dance steps in various bars and in the famous street party. Susanna was very warm and gave us the best recommendations to explore cali. This was one of our most memorable evenings of our lives.

I wish I had done this tour the first day of my visit to Cali. I would have been able to enjoy the city much more.
Susanna don't only give you a tour through the history of Salsa but an immersion of Cali culture. She knows absolutely everything. She goes out of her way to give you the greatest experience.
I enjoy every minute with her. I learned so much.
She is really making a difference (positive) In the city.
Can't recommend her tour enough.

I had the most amazing time with Susana and her colleague, Elena, learning the steps of salsa and visiting some of the most popular salsa discoteques in town. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone planning to visit Cali. I thought that the visit to the salsa museum where we learned about the various versions of salsa associated with various Latin American countries was especially enlightening. Of course, the most fun part of the tour was the hands-on opportunity to apply our new salsa dancing skills at the various salsa hot spots that we visited.
