Katrina was a very personable, professional and knowledgeable. She was a thoughtful guide and gave us an very personalized tour. She listened to our requests and made sure we did the things we wanted to do.
Now we love Cadiz and hope to return. Lots of great food and drink to experience.

Cadiz was a beautiful town that we had never before visited. Seeing a new place through a "local's eyes" is always our preference. While our guide had considerable knowledge, he's a transplant who has lived there for approximately a half dozen years. He was able to share some of his favorite experiences but, I think, lacked a full understanding of the local culture that a native likely has. Having said that, he certainly warmed up and improved as our tour continued. We enjoyed our 2 hours together and would still recommend the tour to others.

We had the BEST time!! Malak was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like we were touring the city with a friend. Really, Really enjoyed our time with her; and learned a lot at the same time. It was lovely!! ❤️

The tour was enjoyable. Malak took our group to some highlights of Cadiz. We really had a fun day. The beaches are beautiful & the gardens were also quite beautiful. We ended up at the cathedral square, which was very nice. It was a leisurely stroll thru your beautiful town.

Our guide’s passion for flamenco really lifted the tour into a different dimension. His English wasn’t perfect but he had a translation app which helped when we got stuck.

Maria gave us a fabulous introduction to Cadiz. She took us to all of the places that we wanted to see and was very knowledgeable. Especially good visit to the Roman theater. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, this was a 6!

Der Start unserer Tour begann schon etwas holprig. M. hatte kurz vor Beginn unserer Tour entschieden, in einem Park am Rande der Stadt starten zu wollen. Vereinbart war jedoch "Treffen vor dem Cruiseterminal" . So mussten wir erst ein Taxi finden, dass uns zum Treffpunkt in dem Park brachte. Das war aber gar nicht so einfach, weil die Taxis vor dem Terminal nur große Touren verkaufen wollten. Nun ja irgendwann klappte es, ein Taxifahrer erbarmte sich uns und mit etwas Verspätung trafen wir uns.
Wir besuchten zwei nette Parks und ein Fort. Dies war interessant, weil dort eine Gedenkstätte für das Erdbeben angesiedelt ist. Als sie dann weit draußen noch ein weiteres Fort besuchen wollte, haben wir aber gestreikt.
Statt dessen, baten wir darum, in die Stadt zu gehen. Dort war allerdings die Zeit schnell um und sie musste zur Uni. Unsere Lokifyer betonte dann mehrfach, dass sie ein paar Minuten länger mit uns unterwegs war, weil wir "zu spät" gewesen waren (sie hatte aber den Treffpunkt verlegt! ). Das hat uns nicht so gut gefallen.
Im Grunde war sie freundlich und auch informativ, ein wenig tiefer gehende Fragen konnte Malak leider nicht beantworten, weil sie erst seit 2 Monaten (!) in Cadiz lebt. Sie ist eine freundliche junge Studentin, die sich etwas dazu verdient, aber ein echter Lokifyer, wie wir erwartet hatten, ist sie jedoch nicht.

Por su comentario, parece que quizás hubiera preferido un tour guiado por un profesional en lugar de un tour de Lokafy. En toda nuestra información destacamos que proporcionamos visitas a pie sin guión por una ciudad con un lugareño, igual que verías una ciudad si tuvieras un amigo que te la enseñara. Lokafy permite a los viajeros conectar con los lugareños y conocer la ciudad desde su punto de vista; cosas como: cómo es vivir allí, consejos sobre sus restaurantes favoritos y también conectar a nivel personal. Por su comentario, parece que nuestros Lokafyers siguieron nuestras directrices. Como no son guías turísticos profesionales, no exigimos que los Lokafyers tengan un conocimiento detallado de la historia de la ciudad. Esperamos que las conversaciones que mantuviste con tus Lokafyers te ayudaran a conectar con ellos a nivel personal.
