A splendid 5 hour walking tour our guide happily adjusted to accommodate our request to visit La Boca. Buenos Aires has such a rich history that our guide shared with us in just the right amount of detail. Highly recommend!

Santiago gave us an excellent walking tour of Buenos Aires. Before we started he checked to see if we had already visited any possible places on the tour. Also if we had preferences on what to visit. Once all was agreed we set off on a steady but gentle walking pace. This is a full 5 hour walking tour and you need to be prepared for a tiring day. Santiago is an accredited tour guide and it showed. He was professional, knowledgable and very calm and friendly. We took public transport between some of the places which was covered in the price and allowed us to see more in the time. He took us to some hidden gems which we would not have found by ourselves. Well worthwhile.

Augustine was great, we had such a great tour and when we met up with friends that spent the day on a different tour our group had more facts and authentic experience's to talk about than their group. 💕I would recommend the tour on the front end of your trip so you get a good understanding of the different areas of the city.

Our guide, Santiago Sergovia, met us promptly at 9 a.m. in the lobby of our hotel. We had taken a small group tour the day before, so we wanted to make some adjustments by removing some areas of interest we had already seen the previous day while replacing with other sights we had yet to see. Santiago showed us that he was very eager to please our tastebuds with all the various flavors of all the sights and sounds that Buenos Aires has to offer. The subway going to Palermo and Recoleta was non-functional as it was under a massive reconstruction/rejuvenation. However, Santiago was very adept on transporting us all over the city on bus transit saving our feet from a considerable amount of walking. We covered a lot of territory that day going from one end of Buenos Aires to the other seeing numerous tourist sites as well as sites off the beaten path. Both my husband and I were initially "not into" going to the Recoleta cemetery. Santiago offered that we should at least go for a peak inside, and then depending on what we wished to do, we could stay or go on to something else. We actually ended up staying for the full tour as it was truly fascinating, and Santiago demonstrated such a wealth of knowledge. Honestly, it was truly fascinating, and I do highly recommend having a good guide give you a tour of this extraordinary resting place. Our Guide was akin to a walking Buenos Aires encyclopedia (in perfect English!) while also just being SUPER FUN. The day went by in a FLASH! Do yourself a favor when in Buenos Aires, and book this tour! You will cover so much territory and learn so much more about the rich heritage of Buenos Aires. We savored every moment.

Agustina was excellent, perfect command of English and even got our English sense of humour, and very knowledgable of BA and it’s history and architecture.
We have been travelling for over ten months, and have had tour guides in many many cities, and we feel this tour was right up there with the best of them. I would highly recommend this tour.

Gabriela, my tour guide, was one of the best guides one could possibly hope for. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history, the culture, the politics and values of Argentina and Buenos Aires, more specifically. She is a joy to be with. We spent almost 5 hours together and I adored her immensely…. And I soaked up her brilliant mind. We both love Pope Francis, and Messi, of course as beloved Argentines. I recommend this tour with 5 stars!!! Do it.

I know that guides sometimes get kickbacks for bringing tourists to certain vendors but I have never actually seen a guide be handed money in a way that I could notice the handoff. It was quite shocking. Also, the guide did not plan out in advance our tour even though I had communicated with the company and the guide quite clearly what we wanted to do and see. The start time was changed the night before because the guide had another tour scheduled that was arriving earlier than expected. Would not book again with this company.

We had a great time exploring Buenos Aries. Having our own guide allowed us to see what we wanted at the pace that fit us best, especially since it was a very hot day. Maria Laura Lorenzo was as good as we could ask for, and did everything that she could to make our day fantastic!

Gustavo was awesome. We got picked up from our hotel lobby. For the next 3 hours, we walked all around Buenos Aires. He asked us what we'd like to see, we told him, and he took us to Boca to the Boca stadium. He was so sweet and kind throughout the whole tour. He answered all our questions and gave us excellent recommendations. It was a great day! He shared some good stories and knew the answers to any questions about Buenos Aires' history. You'll enjoy this tour. Make sure if you go during the summer to have good shoes and an umbrella for the sun or long selves or anything to protect you from the sun!

Knowledgeable guide, didn’t rush us. Good information. What would have made it better is if the guide bought a map of the area we were walking so we could have tracked our route and marked places we might want to return to. A one sheet map and highlighter couldn’t add much to the cost.

I had been to Buenos Aires before so I was looking for a more local view of the city rather than the typical first-time tour experiences. Santiago met me at Teatro Colon, and after hearing where I had been and experienced, put together an itinerary on the spot that included using buses and the subway to get around town. As we walked and rode around he gave me a glimpse of life in Buenos Aires I had wanted. He was informative, attentive, and fun to spend (a very hot in the 90's) afternoon in Buenos Aires. By the end of the tour I felt a much better connection to the city than the main tourist attractions can provide.

My family had a fantastic experience on this tour. Our guide, Nadia, was an expert on the city. She did a great job balancing information and making sure we got to enjoy a variety of sites. She was wonderful about making adjustments to the itinerary to meet the needs of our nine year old. We saw so much in a short period of time! We were arriving via cruise ship and were delayed by an hour. The tour company and Nadia were both very responsive and willing to adjust the schedule at the last minute. This is more than a tour, it’s you and a friend walking, talking, enjoying the amazing views and discussing history. I fell in love, with Buenos Aires and Lucrecia! Our now friend(I can’t say less) Amazing tour guide Lucrecia is absolutely incredible, she gave us 1000%, she lead us through the best places of Buenos Aires. Please take this tour, be ready to walk for several hours. Bring comfortable shoes.

Interesting, fun and informative. I loved my tour with Alejandra. She was so helpful and very knowledgeable about the history of Buenos Aires. We had a great day walking around the neighborhoods of BA, the famous cementery and the murals of Palermo. We stopped at an interesting coffee spot for a delicious break. It was my favorite part of my trip to BA. I definitely recommend her trip. I felt like a local throughout my day with her.

Totally worth it, our tour guide was awesome, we went to markets where the locals shopped, bakery and back of restaurants to see them preparing stuff, back streets of La Boca to see al the graffiti art, local bus from La Boca to Palemo that was interesting, they crazy drivers, would do the tour again if get back to Buenos Aries

What a nightmare !! Would never book anything with this company again beware. Never got to do the tour. Our plane was delayed so couldn't make the booking spent hours trying contact them to let them know impossible to contact and once contacted. Not willing to dicuss problem said we needed to pay again if we wanted to rebook. Tried contacting viator to pass on messages and everthing absolute nightmare so please be careful booking a tour with them. You can't contact them by email. Very sad as this was our first experience with people in Argentina lucky we meet some good people doing the city on our own.

While I have been on a private tour of Buenos Aires before I thoroughly enjoyed this walking and sometimes hop on a bus tour. Whereas my previous tour focused primarily on the historical aspects of Buenos Aires, this tour includes many of the social and contemporary cultural aspects of life in Buenos Aires. Our fabulous guide Gisela Reynoso took us to key social spots such as La Biela in Recoleta for coffee and Filiberto Cafe Bar in La Boca for lunch. Be prepared to walk though as we covered 5 miles over the course of 6 hours did we get some bonus time, thanks!. Despite the distance it never felt rushed and the pace was quite relaxed. Highly recommended.
