Miguel was a fantastic tour guide. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also super easy going and efficient. It was a great way to see the city in 3 hours and ended with some delicious coffee at the end of the tour. Highly suggest taking this tour.

Tour does not match listing!

Mike_S, Aug 2026
Extremely disappointed with this tour. The description explicitly promises a visit to a fruit market (with samples) and a coffee processing demonstration, but our tour included neither. If you're booking this expecting the full itinerary advertised on the page, be prepared to be let down.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Your assessment does not reflect reality. Internal research confirms that the points you mentioned were indeed addressed, and the tour does not include any tastings. We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations.

Not my pick for families/kids

Kathryn_M, Apr 2026
Pros: Miguel is a nice guy! Very knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing different neighborhoods and getting a more “authentic” experience. This is an inexpensive tour and yet you’ll still see a lot. Cons: We booked the tour from the Chapinero location, but the company changed it without notifying us. Also, the photos were misleading- we only saw one mural in the distance and we didn’t see how coffee was roasted- we just went to a coffee shop. Unless we (the guests) asked to learn about it ourselves, the baristas were prepared to just serve us a coffee. Most importantly, I do not recommend this tour for families. Even for adults there are some close calls on the roads/sidewalks. And, despite the bikes being fun, the tour itself isn’t engaging for kids (long stops, hard for them to be engaged with the info In the way it was presented). Also- for all of us- we asked to stop and eat lunch many times (left at 10 AM and didn’t get done until nearly 4) but we just kept stopping for little bites (try a fruit, grab a pastry). We were beyond starving. When it started pouring rain, we hit a wall but had to keep riding back from across town. By the end of the day we were starving, completely drenched (even my raincoat didn’t do the trick and shoes were soaked), exhausted, and riding on busy, slick, unfamiliar roads. This was too long, too messy, and honestly a little scary. Needs to be better organized!

Great way to see bogota and learn

Great guide!

Michael is a great tour guide with a lot of history knowledge. He also doesn't mind to go for a bit extra. His english is very good after spending years in the US. I enjoyed his company and going around the city which is about 12km.

Faulty link in the email.

Benjamin_R, Jul 2024
I'm sure the tour was fine for everyone who made it. The address linked in the email took my friend and I to a location in Chapinero while the meeting point was in La Candelaria.

An interesting adventure in the downtown Bogota

Olga_R, Jan 2024
It was an interesting adventure in the downtown Bogota. Our guide was Miguel, a very experienced, knowledgeable, and caring person. We learned a lot about the history of Colombia, important events, and prominent people. We saw interesting graffiti and listened to their creation stories; we tested delicious coffee and learned interesting facts about coffee production; we visited a huge farmer's market and tasted exotic fruits. Overall, it was a great tour!

Top bike ride!

Miguel is a lovely person. Very proud of his roots and extremely supportive. Hé gave lots of interesting information.

Highly recommend

Jacob_W, Dec 2023
Our tour guide was super friendly and highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the city. The bike ride may sound like a lot of work but is predominantly downhill until the very last section. Our guide even went above and beyond after the tour to take us to where we needed to go next.

Use caution!!!

Angeline_K, Jul 2023
Bogota is higher elevation & it’s harder to breathe here. I don’t recommend this bike tour for anyone with nervousness, anxiety, and/or has ASTHMA! (I am confident that I will not do another bike tour in the city again!) In Bogota, there are a lot of aggressive drivers, pedestrians, & slight inclines that were excruciatingly painful. Cerros bike tour were kind enough to pick up the bike I was on & I called an Uber to go back to my Airbnb when we stopped at a Carulla grocery market (NOT a fruit market as advertised). However, if you decide to go on this bike tour, you’ll also meet some cool people in the small tour group. Enjoy! My lungs still hurt.

Bike tour of Bogota City

Sam_L, Jul 2022
I was the only one in this tour so got a private tour from Miguel who was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English having lived in NY in his youth. This bike tour is very manageable and an efficient way to do much more than a walk. The bike was virtually new from Cierro bike shop and bogota is cycle friendly with a lot of bike paths. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommended

Great experience!

Ana_Z, Feb 2021
Yander took me around the city and was super pleasant and informative throughout. We rode by some local neighborhoods that i would otherwise never get to visit on my own. The small coffee factory is also the highlight of the tour!

First bike tour of the capital.

Levi_S, Dec 2020
The tour guide was very informative and fun. We went for a coffee break, very wholesome experience overall.

Response from Host, Dec 2020

Hi Levi, thank you so much for your comments and time.

The bikes were in excellent shape...

Ryan K, Apr 2018
The bikes were in excellent shape. Even the tires were purposely underinflated just a little to help cushion some of the bad roads on the streets of Bogota. The guide was fun and knowledgeable about the city. We visited Bolivar Plaza, a coffee roaster to learn how the coffee is made, a large fruit and meat market, and other popular areas around the city. This trip hardly cost anything but you got to see so many different site that the value was unbelievable. Total time was about 4 or 5 hours. I highly recommend this trip to others!

Colombia is a taste!

Gleydson_N, Jan 2026
It was a very pleasant and quiet tour under the command of the guide Miguel, who is a great acquaintance with the history of Colombia. The visit to the Paloquemao Market was the best time.
