Our group of four from the States had an outstanding experience on the Bergamo Street Food Private Tour With a Local Guide, and our guide, Mehran, made it truly unforgettable.
Mehran’s knowledge of Bergamo was exceptional. He didn’t just show us the Upper and Lower City he brought them to life through fascinating stories, historical context, and detailed explanations of the architecture, culture, traditions, and beliefs that have shaped the city over the centuries. His passion for Italy and for Bergamo was evident in everything he shared, making every stop meaningful and engaging.
The food and gelato was good, but it was Mehran’s enthusiasm, depth of knowledge, and ability to connect history with what we were seeing that made this tour one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re visiting Bergamo and want more than just a sightseeing tour, we highly recommend requesting Mehran.
