We absolutely loved our private tour to Ayutthaya and cannot recommend it enough.
The itinerary was perfectly planned, but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Bakery, and our driver. From the very beginning, it felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend—an incredibly knowledgeable and resourceful one at that.
The journey itself was smooth and comfortable, with our driver going above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of throughout the day.
Bakery struck the perfect balance between sharing fascinating insights, guiding us to the best spots, helping us capture great photos, and introducing us to an amazing lunch spot along with delicious drink and dessert stops. Every moment felt thoughtfully curated without ever feeling rushed.
Honestly, it was the best day. Thank you both so much for such a memorable experience!

We had an excellent time. Our guide Peter and driver picked us up promptly at 7am at our hotel. It was about 1h 15 to get to our first stop. Peter was a wealth of information and was so kind. His passion for sharing his country’s history was just fantastic. We really enjoyed the temple visits, the boat cruise around the historic city and the optional lunch was delicious. I’d do this tour again in a heartbeat or recommend it to anyone.

The historic temples at Ayutthaya are wonderful to see. The boat trip included in the tour was enjoyable and offered a different view of the former capital. We had a great tour guide in Mr Bakery who looked after us all day and us to a great local restaurant for lunch. It was a very enjoyable day trip.

Fantastic experience. Johnny is a very good guide and leaves you enough time to take pictures. The boat trip is a plus. The historical sites are marvelous. We recomend this tour with Johnny.

Johnny was a fun guide, a real character. He was full on detailed history and knowledge, including specific historical dates. We came away full of great pictures (Jonny knew exactly where to get the best pictures) and learned a great deal about Buddhism and the life of monks. He was a very thoughtful and caring guide.

5/5 stars Excellent value — worth every penny. This private tour is wonderfully tailored to your personal needs. We asked to sleep in and start at 9:00 a.m., and everything was arranged perfectly, including our choice of lunch location or a coffee break.
Peter is an outstanding guide—extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and full of fascinating historical insights. Most importantly, he is genuinely caring and attentive. He helped me navigate some high steps and kindly offered to take photos while I took a short rest, which meant a great deal to me.

Amazing private tour with Kim and driver Mr Gai. Kim was so passionate and knowledgable and kind an we loved every moment of our tour, it was a fun surprise to feed the fish on the river! A really tasty recommended local lunch as well :) I can’t rate Kim highly enough as a tour guide, she was truly excellent and my husband and I had an amazing tour, highly recommend!

The van (driver plus guide) picked my friends and I up at our hotel on time. On our drive our guide gave us a detailed history of the region and the temples which really helped put everything into context. Our guide (army) was so knowledgeable and considerate. I highly recommend.

Gwen knows her stuff! Her knowledge made for some really interesting conversations that kept us informed and entertained all day.
They picked us up in the morning and drove us to the different temples, no issues at all.
We loved the pace of the tour; we did a lot but it was never too much. They were very accommodating to our preferences, stopping when we needed, or spending more time in a place we really wanted to.
Gwen is a great tour guide; we loved how enthusiastic she was, and she was able to explain things really well. We all felt like we’d learned so much about the history of Thailand.
Would recommend this tour to anyone!

Johnny is the best tour guide I have ever travelled with, and this is not an exaggeration.
I travelled with my family which can be quite a stressful experience but Johnny maintained their interest, was very enthusiastic and also knew when to go at their pace. We never felt rushed but still made it to everything on time.
It made the whole experience really enjoyable for all of us, including me. He had excellent knowledge of Ayutthaya and was able to give my mother, who loves history and religion, all of the information she wanted.
He had excellent food suggestions as well and we really enjoyed our lunch.
His enthusiasm made us so much more excited and even after the trip, my parents were talking about how much fun he was to go with.
When I return to Thailand (2 weeks is not enough) I honestly don't want any other tour guide than Johnny.
If this sounds like exaggeration, I assure you it is not, honestly find out for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I were lucky enough to have Kim as our guide and Mr. Vee as our driver! Kim was super easy to talk to and knowledgeable answering any questions we had about Thai culture. This tour is the perfect distance outside of Bangkok for a day trip without feeling too rushed exploring the temples. The boat ride was definitely a highlight! The tour feels a bit overpriced and the nonrefundable cancellation policy is extreme, but it definitely reflects in the quality of the guide.

Absolutely delightful day! Oan was our guide and both he and our driver were delightful. The pre-tour communication was great and we were met at our hotel on time (early actually!) to start our day. We went to three Wats, took a long-tail boat ride, walked briefly through a market, and were taken to a delightful authentic Thai restaurant for lunch (lunch not included, but very reasonable.) Oan was extremely knowledgeable about each of the sites. It was a hot day and we were treated to ice cold drinks and towels after each site visit. We are birders and Oan was very patient with our birding interest at each site. It was sad to say good-bye at the end of the day when we were delivered back to our hotel😀

The sights were incredible. Sunny was a great host. Victor was always ready with his taxi and water when traveling between sites. The boat ride was a very unique experience, there was lots to see. Getting picked up and dropped off at our hotel was great.

We really enjoyed seeing the historical and fascinating remains of this ancient capital city. Kim, our guide let us at a comfortable pace and was knowledgeable and friendly. She was open to customizing according to our interests. Our driver, GAI, had the cleanest nicest vehicle with enjoyed so far. His driving skills were exceptional and he made sure we were comfortable throughout the day.
