This was such an informative and relaxing tour from Aswan to Luxor. The Emo Tours team and tour guide crew were incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating. We want to give a very special shoutout to our tour guide, Mohamed Hashimi, who literally took care of everything for us (including taking some great family pictures of us!) and made each tour sight a very educational and enjoyable experience!

Our trip to Luxor was a great experience overall. We visited all the major landmarks as planned, and our guide, Ayman, was incredibly knowledgeable—sharing detailed insights into the history of each temple and even capturing some professional photos and videos for us.
However, the pickup and drop-off point was changed at the last minute, which was disappointing and caused a delay to the start of the tour. Despite this miscommunication from the tour operator, Ayman’s expertise truly made the day memorable.

My driver Chico and guide Ahmed were excellent. My driver was on time and picked me up from my hotel. My guide Ahmed took some good pictures. Thank you.

Visits were incredible, and increasing quality with time. The boutique part was predictible as it is a trap for tourists but it was still a very good experience. Our guide knowledge and explanations were great. He was adaptable and even changed langage and switch for us. The driver was very nice and always on time, made us feel secure on the road, drove very quick and very professional and even brought us snacks. Just keep in mind that Emo Tour offers to start at 7am or 8am but we did not have the choice and accepted 6am.

The tour itself is great. However, the logistics don't live up to the theory. Here is something you should keep in mind booking this particular tour.
I'm a solo traveler, and I love joining other groups to meet new people and experience something new each time.
On this tour, I was NOT offered an option to join any groups and apprently they don't match tourists up.
Everyone was doing a 'private' tour. I don't understand why I need to pay extra as a solo traveler when all the places I visited were literally packed with other one-two person 'private' tours.
On top of all this, I gave Viator an option to match me up with a tour guide that speaks any of the top three languages I can communicate in - that most guides speak there, - and I got a tour guide who couldn't even hold a conversation in English.
As much as I appreciate the fact that people do speak other languages in the country, I don't find it acceptable. If you are taking this tour in Arabic, it should be fine.
The other note is they offer you to visit local 'workshops' to see how things are done, and ask you to buy something. If you ARE looking for those souvenirs, it might be a great option, but I wasn't. So it was nice they were not too forceful about that.
The final opportunity for improvement is drving logistics. It took as about 4.5 hours to get back instead of 3 hours because for whatever reason (I gave up on trying to communicate with my tour guide and the driver) we decided to take local bumpy roads instead of the highway.
Both the driver and the tour guide were really nice and trustworthy but the experience was pretty exhausting and I felt drained by the end of the day.

Our guide, Ms Ghada Khalaf did an amazing job, despite the heat and Ramadan (no food and water for her). She had a lot of knowledge, but also a good sense of humor. The driver from Aswan to Luxor was also very professional. We had a great day of discovery!

It was a great idea to reserve this tour. Mohammed, the driver for this excursion did not speak fluent English; however, enough to communicate. He was courteous and punctual. My guide Ashraf was incredible. I enjoyed my visit to the valley of the kings, Karnak temple, and Luxor temple. If you visit the museum of Egyptian History in Cairo, you must visit the tomb of Tutankhamun, it will be an extra ticket but worthed. Big recommendation, these tours will always include a visit to a papyrus store or alabaster store, my recommendation is not to but anything there since it is extremely expensive and you can find the same things at the bazar. Lunch was good, and I really enjoy visiting Luxor, I would definitely visit it again and hire the same tour.
