For the transfer to Spello we will have a private van with driver
A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
Please notice: on Sundays, big Catholic holidays and National holidays, guided tours inside the Basilica of St. Francis ar forbidden. You guide will explain to you the church from outside, and you will enter alone on silence.
Due to the exposition of the remains of St. Francis, guided tours of the basilica will be suspended from February 15, 2026, to April 6, 2026. The guide will provide an explanation from outside, and then visitors will be able to enter on their own.

Our guide Valentina has a remarkable command of the history of these structures and the incomparable artwork they contain. She was warm, clear and eager to tell the stories of the people who created them and those to whom they are dedicated. It was a wonderful day and even enough time, to get to know a little about each other.
