Our driver and guide Oscar was excellent. His knowledge of wildlife, tracking skills, and passion for nature made the one day game drive unforgettable. We were very lucky to see 3 lionesses with 6 cubs!! We also saw a cheetah! One complaint I have to the tour operator is the communication - we were told to meet at the pick up location at 6:30AM but our guide was told to meet us at 7:00AM. Not our guide's fault but this could've been communicated in advance.

Amazing day at the Tarangire National Park. We saw many animals, elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes. Barack was an incredible guide, very professional and knowledgeable. We talked with him on many subjects.The tour is very well organised, from the starting point to the drop off at the hotel.

My favorite safari with the best Guide

This was my favorite safari while in Arusha. We say two lions, 2 lioness and about 10 cubs. This would not have been possible without the sharp eyes of our Guide. He spotted on lioness then he shared that they normally travel in threes and others would be close. He parked the truck and we watch with the binoculars. After about thirty mins the family appeared. The Guide was correct others were near. We decided to eat our lunch across from the lions to continue to watch them. It was so exciting. Earlier elephants and a zebra walked across the road when we were driving. The park has so many species including termites, who created large impressive mounds. I highly recommend this safari there was never a dull moment. The drive was very close to Arusha and the roads were not too bumpy.

Dear Daisy/Lyvan, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry that aspects of your experience left you feeling uncomfortable. After reviewing the events in detail with our Managing Director, it appears there was a misunderstanding. On the day of your tour, you had chosen an earlier start time, which unfortunately meant breakfast was unavailable at your booked property. During a breakfast stop en route, an intern travelling on the tour had his portion mistakenly added to your bill (approximately $4). This was not intentional, and the guide addressed the matter with him in Swahili (basically scolding him for not clarifying to be allocated separate bills). We now understand that the use of another language in this context caused concern, and we apologies for any discomfort this caused. But there was no ill intention. Even though the misunderstanding was minor in value 4$ which wasn't mentioned on your review for future travelers context, we refunded the entire $350 cost of the day trip as a gesture of goodwill and to uphold our commitment to client satisfaction. We have since reinforced communication guidelines with all team members to ensure such misunderstandings do not occur in the future. We value every guest’s trust and work hard to ensure their safari experience is memorable for the right reasons. We hope this clarifies the situation and reflects our genuine intent to resolve matters fairly. However, given that this was a misunderstanding over approximately $4, describing it as a “scheme” may not reflect the full context. We leave it to our past and future travelers to judge based on our transparency and the fact that we refunded the full $350 for the day trip. This was one of my favorite trips through Viator yet, Floridi did an amazing job throughout the entire safari. One of the coolest things we saw was a leopard in the tree with a fresh kill it had gotten. He even took me by the Masaii and let me visit one of their villages after the safari. I didn’t have enough cash pulled out so he fronted me the money to go and experience their culture. We had lots of good conversations and he did a great job answering all the questions that I had. He took the time to allow me to see everything I wanted to see. When I told him the last thing I wanted to do before I left Tanzania was to try Ugali. He took me to a local bar for dinner where I was finally able to try some. He didn’t have to do this at all but he went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great and authentic local experience on my last couple days in Arusha. 11/10 for Floridi I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Highly Recommend! We had an absolutely amazing experience and would highly recommend this tour! From start to finish, everything was well-organized and enjoyable. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and our guides, Godlisten and Eliza, were simply wonderful—so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife. They took the time to position us perfectly for great photo opportunities and shared so much fascinating information along the way. Shoutout to Simon (Safari Monster) for the amazing experience! He was determined to make sure we got to see as much as possible. Very knowledgeable about the animals and the park in general. Lunch was great and he was very welcoming. We Saw elephants lions giraffes, Antelope, Dik Dik, buffalo, tons of birds and even a leopard turtle! Wowzers!

I can only recommend this trip! Pickup on time, very nice driver & tourguide. An incredible nice and long game-drive in Taragire and we had a great lunchbox with us. The driver was very friendly, did not rush and had eagle-eyes when it came to spot opportunities to see rare animals. Booked another trip with another company the day before & had a bad experience. This is a solid tour. The tour guide, Said, is a really nice guy who cares about the job he does and the people he is with. He did his best to answer any questions and is just a genuinely nice guy. He made sure we got to see as much as possible. We saw a ton of giraffes, elephants (well over 100), monkeys, baboons, antelope, zebra, etc. He tried really hard to find us some wild cats, that was the only miss of the trip, but they are certainly there. He made sure we ate plenty with a nice lunch in a great location. He also gives you the option to stop to a local shop for souvenirs and was really flexible on time. The jeep was really cool too. Said even got ahold of us on WhatsApp to make sure we were doing well the next day. I'd say this is a top 3 park in Tanzania, and the best for giraffe and elephant.
