An amazing expérience! We have booked this tour through Viator and were absolutely impressed by the service. Gabriele called us the day before to explain us all détails about the journey. The next day, Ali came to our hotel to pick us up, he was on Time, really friendly and very professional. We also had a stop for breakfast which was really appréciated. From Arusha Ngorongoro is about 4 hours driving. We saw many animals, lunch was good. The site is also very impressive. When came back at the hotel, the agency also offers is a gift. Do not hesitate to book with Euphoria Safaris, you will enjoy an unforgettable day.

No fault of the tour company, the guide was great. I did not enjoy the long drive to the crater. We sat in the back of the vehicle and it was torture. We saw a lot of zebras, a Giraffe crossing the road and baboons at the entry to the park. We also had a picnic while watching the hippopotamus swim in the water nearby. Make sure you bring your own toilet paper because most washrooms did not have any. Also hand sanitizer. Again it’s a horrible long bumpy drive to the crater and I would not do it again.

The roads to our parks are usually on marram as we are not allowed to have tarmac roads on the parks for us to retain the ecosystem of the parks, the relevant authorities have been told as well and we hope the next time you visit our roads would have improved.

I booked this last minute and I'm so glad I did. It was a wonderful full day. I was picked up on time and there was good communication beforehand on WhatsApp. We drove for about 1 hour then had a delicious breakfast stop with a full meal of fruit, omelette and veggies. We then drove through Ngorongoro crater. We had an amazing lunch of rice, spaghetti, avocado and traditional Tanzania lentil stew and spinach near a pond with hippos. Honestly, the food on this tour is some of the best I had on my trip in TZ! We saw zebras, wildebeest, hippos, a rhino and a lion. Our driver was very skilled. We got back to Arusha around 7pm due to traffic. It was a wonderful trip!

The crater is extraordinary and a must see to take in its vastness and beauty. To see herds of various animals together is a bit surreal; everywhere you turn looks like a page out of Nat Geo. It can get pretty busy though so if that bothers you, then try and stay somewhere close to get the earliest access to the park as possible. The plus side of it being busy is that guides from all different operators help each other spot animals so there’s a good chance that you’ll see most of the big 5. Gabriel, our host, met us at our hotel the evening prior to give us a briefing on what to expect the next day. He then met us after the tour to welcome us back, checking in to see how we enjoyed our safari. Our driver, Godfrey, was very patient in waiting for everyone to take their pictures and have a look through the binoculars. Overall the service was excellent although I do have a few suggestions to anyone who is considering taking this tour with this particular outfitter:
1. Bring insect repellent and sunscreen
2. Know that there are charge ports in the jeep so you can recharge your phones/equipment if needed
3. You may want to bring your own binoculars as there is only one pair in the Jeep. Everyone in our group was very good at sharing but something to consider if you prefer to have a longer time with them.
I wish we were told of these things in advance - especially the charging ports as my battery drained very quickly within a few hours of the safari and I did not have the use of my phone camera for the balance of the day. My fault for not bringing my battery pack but in any event, I’ve shared these suggestions with Godfrey so that he’s aware.

Very clear and responsive communication from organizator and tour guy/driver. This is the only safari tour I did in Tanzania and pictures are just amazing. You come here to enjoy the entire experiment of safari animals and nature one od 7 natural wonders of Africa.
Please be aware that there will be a lot of dust and being your mask 😷 on.

Excellent service. Company confirmed pick up time and location the day before. Arrived right on time. Guide (Osi) was excellent. Vehicle was clean and well equipped (cold drinks and charging). Restrooms available at several stops during the day. Experience itself was fantastic!

Customer service is top-rated. Gabriel was very responsive and professional as I had to contact him several times with questions. He was present when his driver/guide picked us up at our hotel promptly at 6 am. He also gave us a briefing on what to expect on our day trip to the Ngorongoro Crater. Surprisingly, he also made an appearance when his driver dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the day -bearing gifts and to thank us! His driver/guide who accompanied us to Ngorongoro was equally accommodating with our requests to make frequent stops for those photo ops along the way. He even granted our request to make a short stop at the Maasai Village. Euphoria is the best! You will not be disappointed!

Gabriel picked us up at the airport at JRO and made the 1.5 hour drive to Arusha a lot more pleasant by telling us a lot about the area. Bryson our game driver and guide picked us up the next morning. It was a long way to the crater from Arusha but definitely worth it. Saw the big 4 (missed the lions by a few minutes!) as we saw a leopard crossing the road as we were heading back to Arusha, pretty fantastic! Lunch was delicious! The scenery at the crater is very unique as you are surrounded by the hills.

It was definitely thrilling experience for sure.
Not just the animals but, the driver.
He was speeding very fast and overtaking any car he sees. No matter where you're at. Even on the edge of crater.
Even more, almost all of the seat belts were broken. So everyone had to hold on to the any convex surface of the car.
That was a bit extreme.

Thank you for your review and your time, I did a deep dive into the issue you brought to our attention. We found that we had internal issues we had to address and as well external factors that were out of our control.
I personally called upon the driver and inquired as well as fellow guests and with the ongoing heavy rains we are experiencing in Arusha we had 45 minutes delay on one of the flooded roads going to the crater as well the Lodge and pick up point you had chosen was far away from the main road on a rugged road where we were to pick you up with a van upto the road but the locals warned us against that, since the road to your lodge was so slippery after the heavy rains, we had to send the driver with a safari jeep whom on the process had a time frame loss of 30 to 40 minutes again navigating through the mud slippery road, the driver had to drive at a certain high speed during the safari to be able to arrive on time to the crater,but it wasn’t a reason for him to overtake at risky places for that we have disciplined him and going forward he will learn from his mistakes and handle the situation correctly.
Another thing about jeep driving inside a rugged area, we have training from professionals who have modified the jeeps and there is a certain speed that is required to drive them to reduce the force induced to the vehicle as well as the passengers due to the rusters on the road .
We have taken precautionary measures and found 2 of our seat belts were not in good condition and also changed immediately, we are sorry for what you went through and moving forward we will serve you and many other clients better.

This one-day safari was well organized, pick up was on schedule, plenty of breathtaking fauna and flora to see, guide was caring and knowledgeable, and drop off time was according to what we were told. This was a very remarkable trip. While the travel time to and from Ngorongoro Crater from Arusha consumed almost half the day in the remaining time we were able to see 4 of the Big 5 plus many other animals and birds. Our driver seemed to know exactly where the various animals would go and got us in place for some extremely close encounters. Overall, the trip was more than worth the price.

This was a great trip. Our driver was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We had a great trip! Saw many animals and even the rhinos. The rhinos were not close enough for photos, but were able to see them through binoculars. The crater is just beautiful! The views from the top are amazing! I would definitely recommended this trip.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because one couple we picked up was staying at an Airbnb and they weren’t far from the main road, but the roads to get there were just awful! It added another 45 mins to the trip and then we were coming back dropping them off first just caused a delay again. I would recommended that for situations like that they need to meet us somewhere more convenient.

This was my first safari and while this is my first, I must say this was a spectacular experience! Not all safaris provide the opportunity to see all the big 5 which this one did. My trip to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area was absolutely stunning! My driver met with me the day before to provide an overview of the trip, what to expect, what time I needed to be ready, etc. As a solo traveller, I appreciated that reassurance and customer service.
Both my driver and tour guide were kind, professional and knowledgeable - sharing all kinds of wonderful facts during the tour.
The crater itself was unbelievably beautiful - our tour guide took us around the rim of the crater and then we ascended down into it - there were plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and for those concerned about the length of the trip (rest stops were plentiful).
We had an opportunity to see the beautiful Maasai people who live in the conservation area, lions, wildebeasts, giraffes, gazelles, ostrich's, hippopatmus, elephants, giraffes, hyenas and more. Our Day Trip included a wonderful picnic lunch which we enjoyed together on the crater floor (it was so so good!). As a solo traveller I felt very safe and very welcome on this trip and highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

Although our car broke, the Tourguides managed to organize another car so we could continue our journey. The crater itself is absolutely amazing. Lions, rhino or other big cats are hard to spot, but the crater is full of animals. We did enjoy very much! And the Tourguides apologized personally for the delay!

This was a trip of a lifetime. We had the most wonderful driver/guide who made the entire day most enjoyable. The vehicle was pristine and comfortable. We saw four of the big five, mostly due to the skills of our guide. Our box lunch was just right, and we could watch Hippos (watching us) while we ate. What a great day.
